~Zero's POV~

"Being sent out by the headmaster does have it's perks right Zero!" she said, happy to be in town, " Let's get something good out of this!" she said running ahead into a restaurant. I grumbled and picked up all the stuff. Well, something good about Rose was that she refused to let me carry the stuff that she bought whereas, Yuki just likes to do the shopping.

When I realized what I was thinking about, I mentally slapped myself. Damn, I need to get Rose out of my head. I had been thinking of her since I pissed her off the night of the bloody incident with Yuki. Upon my upset fight with myself, I had completely missed the name of the restaurant

"Hey! Zero! You came back!" Martha came running to me. Of course, I thought. It's gonna be a Rose related restaurant.

"We love that you guys keep coming back so often but a girl just came in and took the last seat!" she said laying her hand on her cheek to think. "Oh well-" I started but was cut off by Yuki, "Zero! Don't be such a turtle!"

Her comment made me remembered the even this morning when Rose and Jason were coming to the house. Jason had made a water turtle making Rose laugh and recollect a memory probably. The thing that irritated me most was that Jason had made it rain around them forcing Rose to huddle close to him under the umbrella. Why is it that she does so many things for her friends but she can just ignore me like that when I don't normally think of anyone and have her stuck in my head reminded of her by everything.

"Wait? You came with that girl?" said Martha, immediately coming to dislike Yuki, "I thought you and Rose were dating?" she said.

I wished....wait, did I just think that? "No, sorry for the mistake. Rose and I were just friends, besides, she has other people to be around." I said.

"Well, I'm sure they're better people," Martha said trying to make me feel bad, "You should go on. Don't keep this girl waiting." she said. Clearly I was just an acquaintance of Martha's. Not a friend. Ignoring how rude that was in the first place, I walked over and sat next to Yuki, "Finally Zero! You caught up! I had gotten the last table!" Yuki said.

I looked around and saw the seat we were in. It was the one that Rose and I sat at both the times we came here. Really? Really? What did I ever do to deserve this much bad karma. A maid came by and gave us Yuki's ice cream and my drink. I eyed the ice cream and it also reminded me of the little bankruptcy I had with Rose. DAMNIT!!!

I was shouting in my head. I needed to get her out of my head before it killed me. At this rate, it's going to drive me insane before the vampire blood in me could.

"I didn't know they sold ice cream here," I thought out loud. I saw Yuki stop eating and look at Martha. She was coming over as she heard my comment.

"It was Rose's idea that my aunt should sell ice cream all throughout the year. It seems that Rose thinks that it's a good idea to do that and my aunt said she'd think about it. Going through with it now and it seems to be working ironically," Martha explained to me.

Okay is it just me or is everything Rose related?

Everything is Rose related.

"Oh, then I'll tell her you started then," I said hoping I could use it as an excuse to talk to Rose and get her misunderstanding straight. Martha just smiled as if she knew what I was thinking, "Oh, don't worry about it. She just came by!" Martha turned around, but hesitated before turning back to me, "Oh and you were right Zero! She has better people to be with. I saw her walking with 3 other guys from the night class."

I said she had other people....not better...

But besides from that, I didn't like where this was headed but I wanted to know. I glance at Yuki only to see how irritated she was with the conversation topic but she didn't bother to try to change it...another difference.
