Chapter 6

Sorry, This chapter is all over the place. I think I might have to rethink where I wanted this story to go. Until then, heres this..... thing I wrote? Let me know what you think I can do to improve, and make it less messy

I wake up startled, I must have forgotten where I was for a moment until my eyes adjust to being awake, and I see here next to me. There's a crack of light coming from the drapes highlighting all the curves to her body. I grab her body, to pull to closer to mine and fall back to sleep. It must not have been much longer when I started to feel her small butterfly like kisses on my neck. Such a nice way to be woken.

"Josh, let's go get breakfast i'm starving" she's now kneeling beside me on the bed, bouncing on the bed while pushing me to get up. Suddenly I spring up and tackle her on the bed, and start tickling her. "Josh! seriously!" now laughing hysterically. "Seriously Josh, I will pee on you!" I want to spend all day in bed with her, this moment we're in right now is perfect, nothing could ruin it.

My phone starts to go off, and I notice it's a message from Claudia. I forgot all about her, she must want to tell me about her work.

"Is that Claudia?" Jen asks, while looking over at my phone. "Yeah.. She wanted to let me know she's doing fine, and asked whats new with me. I told her you and I were just about to get some breakfast"

"She can't find out about what happened you know" there's a more serious tone to her voice now, she facial expression has completely changed. "Jen, I would never hurt you like that. I'm going to figure out a way we can be together. You can't keep two people apart like this! For what reason would they need us to not be together?! I just don't understand!" trying to keep from my voice raising my voice.

"I might know why..." I look over at her looking down at her hands. "Jen? What do you know?" slowly walking towards her, I sit next to her my hand grabbing hers.

"Josh... Claudia isn't just any normal girl. She's a Traisac, Josh. They have a long history of getting what they want. I forget how exactly I found the story, but there was once an investigation on their family. Obviously with the money they have, her grandfather was able to shut them up, for good." tears form in her eyes. I hold her closer than before, trying to stop her from shaking but it's all too much. I never knew what power my girlfriends family had, or that their last name was something I should have stayed clear of.

"There's a story written by a man that was once dating her great grandma. In it he tells how they were fine, dating and in love. Until her grandfather caught eye of her beauty and stopped at nothing to get her to be his. They threaten you, and take your career, your family..everything away from you until you have nothing left. If you still refuse, they'll make you leave. " she looks up at me, the tears are now running down her face.

"I don't understand what the motive is? Why not just find someone else to fall in love with? Why take a working relationship and destroy it?" I had to ask, but maybe I don't need to know. This is all too much to swallow at this point, and it makes no sense. Did Claudia have her mind set on me? Does she already know i'm not in love with her, but with Jen?

"They do it to keep the blood line strong. Josh you're a perfect match for her, and her family. They need you to be a part of it, and she needs you. Her parents were unable to have a boy, which means that Claudia would have to become the head of the family once of age. Basically you're of age, able to be the head of her family. You're already very successful in everything you do, you work hard and make things happen. They need you. " she stopped crying, and now seems to be angry? With me? How was I supposed to know this was going to happen. I'm still not sure what's going on. There are so many different guys out there, how am I the one they need?

"Jen, I'll fix this. I love you and we will be together"
