Ch.12 Scared

Everyone ran as fast as they could until they made it to the Lost Boys camp.

"Oh there you guys are" Slightly said.

"We've got a problem" Piper said with a scared look "Something's happening to Tinkerbell".

He gently placed Tink onto a table where her limped body fell onto the table as she shivered and her light was starting to go out.

"What's wrong with Tink?" Tootles asked with a nervous look "Why's her light going out?"

"I don't know her wings just stopped working and she felt very weak and now she's really cold".

Everyone looked at Tinkerbell and saw her shivering.

"Here" Nibs said as he lighted a candle "Put this near her".

Piper placed the candle next to Tink, but she still kept shivering.

"Tink are you feeling any heat?" he asked.

"Not...really" she said weakly as he light started to go out some more.

"What do we do?" Twin 1 asked with a scared look.

"Um, where's my mom?" Piper asked.

"She's not here" Twin 2 said.

Piper started to think of what to do to save Tinkerbell.

"Ok" he said as he got an idea "I'm gonna go to Pixie Hollow and see if the fairies can help".

He then flew away from the camp and made his way to Pixie Hollow, but when he got there, what he saw shocked him. Pixie Hollow was not like how it was before, the plants and flowers were all dead, there was not a fairy in sight, but the big Pixie Dust tree still stayed in the middle. Piper quickly ran to the tree and looked through the crack. Inside he didn't see a fairy, but what really shocked him was that there was no more pixie dust running.

"No" he gasped "No this can't be happening".

He then looked down and saw what appeared to be a fairy lying weak on the ground and struggling to stay alive. He gently scooped the fairy into his palms and brought her to his face.

"What's going on?" he asked her.

"We're..." she said weakly "Dying".

"What?" he gasped just as the fairy's light went out, she was dead "Oh my gosh".

"Piper!" he heard someone call from behind.

He turned around and saw Kitty running towards him.

"What happened here?" she asked.

"Pixie Hollow's-" Piper said with a sad look "Dead".

"What?" she gasped as he showed her the dead fairy and she gasped again.

"I don't know how this is happening" he said.

"Um, Piper" Kitty said with a sad look "There's something I gotta tell you".

"What?"

"Tinkerbell's-" she hesitated with a sad look "Well, dead".

Piper's eyes widen "What?!"

"Her light went out" she said "She's gone".

Piper was shocked, he gently placed the dead fairy down and flew away towards the camp with Kitty following. When he made it to the camp, everyone has sad looks on their faces. He looked on the table and saw Tinkerbell lying dead with her light out. He couldn't believe it, she was really gone.
