Ch.22 Alice in Neverland

Back in Wonderland, in Alice's house, Alice and the Cheshire Cat were playing a game of chess. Alice thought carefully on where to move her piece with Cat watching her with her blue cat eyes. Alice then moved her piece, just as Cat moved her piece and took Alice's place.

"Check mate" she grinned as Alice groaned.

"How are you so good at this?" Alice asked.

"I have my ways" Cat grinned.

Just then Alice spotted Pepper the tiny pig on the counter as he started to chew on the calendar.

"Oh no Pepper" she got up and went to him "Not the calendar".

But as she pulled Pepper off the counter, she looked on the calendar and her eyes widen.

"Oh my gosh" she gasped.

"What?" Cat asked.

"Tomorrow's Peter's and Wendy's anniversary! I almost forgot that I was planning on surprising them tonight so we can hang out, could you hold him please?" she handed Pepper to Cat as she quickly ran upstairs.

"What are you doing?" Cat asked as Alice came down with a wrapped up present and what appeared to be black goggles in her hands.

"I am going to Neverland that's what" she said as she opened a cabinet and pulled out a little bottle of pixie dust "I haven't seen Peter and Wendy in a while so I'm really looking forward to seeing them".

"So what's the gift?" Cat asked as she set Pepper on the table.

"I'm not gonna tell you" Alice smirked "And can you take care of Pepper while I'm gone?"

"What? I'm not good with pets".

"All you have to do is feed him, but not too much, and make sure he stays out of trouble".

"Well how long are you gonna be gone?"

"Just today and maybe tomorrow. Oh, and if you see Alistair, tell him that I'm in Neverland".

"But how are you gonna get to Neverland at this time? It's still the afternoon".

"That's why I have this thing call Night Shades" Alice held up the black goggles.

"Aren't night shades those masks you wear at night?" Cat asked as Pepper jumped off the table and started to head upstairs.

"Yes but this is a different night shade, come outside".

Alice and Cat went outside where the sun was shining over the purple Wonderland grass.

"Ok" Alice said "Check it out, when you put these on, they turn day into night, try it".

Cat took the goggles and put them on and was amazed at what she saw. Alice was right, the goggles turned day into night. There were now stars in the night sky and the sun had became the moon.

"Wow" she said amused "Oh and I can see the second star to the right!"

"Exactly" Alice smiled as she took the goggles back "This will be my way to get to Neverland. Now I should go, and don't forget to take care of Pepper while I'm gone".

"Yeah sure" Cat shrugged.

Alice put the Night Shades on and opened the bottle of pixie dust and sprinkled some all over her, and soon she began to float.

"I'll be back soon" she told Cat as she flew towards the second star to the right and disappeared into the sky.

"Now how do I take care of that pig?" Cat asked herself as she went back into Alice's home.

But when she got in, she was shocked to see Pepper chewing on some books.

"Well this is gonna be hard" she sighed with a worried look.

As Alice flew towards the second star to the right, she soon entered Neverland. She watched as the sun set over the horizon as it reflected the water surface. But as she flew, she spotted a flying ship in the sky. As she flew closer to get a better look she saw the name 'Queen Anne's Revenge' on it.

"Wait where have I seen that name before?" she asked herself as she flew closer to the ship.

She then peeked over the ship was shocked to see Alistair and Piper in the hands on pirates with Blackbeard next to them.

"They're here in Neverland?" she whispered to herself.

She knew she had to save them, but she couldn't seem to know how. But as she looked down she spotted what appeared to be a little door at the bottom of the ship. She flew down to it put her hand on the handle. Hoping that nothing would fall out, Alice slowly opened the door and saw a dark tunnel. Curious as always, she crawled into the tunnel and could see light coming from another little door above her. She pushed the door opened and found herself in a cabin surrounded by old items. But when she turned she saw 2 cells with Peter and Hook in them. She saw that Hook was asleep and Peter was lying on the floor.

"Peter?" she gasped as he tried to get up.

"What?" he said as Alice climbed out from the tunnel and went to his cell.

"Peter it's me".

"Alice?" he gasped weakly.

"Yeah what's wrong? Why are you and Hook in cells?"

"Blackbeard caught us" he said as he tried to get up but he ended up falling back down.

"Peter what's wrong?"

"I'm dying" he said weakly.

"Dying?" Alice gasped.

"The time glass".

"The what?"

"The time glass" he pointed to the time glass on the table "It's ending my life".

"Wait isn't that the time glass that can end someone's life?"

"Yeah, and it's ending mine".

"Oh my gosh" Alice gasped.

"Knock it over" he said still weakly and quietly.

"What?"

"Knock it over!" he manged to say.

"Oh right" she said as she went to the time glass.

She tried to push it over but it was too heavy to budge.

"I can't push it over" she told Peter.

"Well find something to smash it!" Peter said.

"Um" she started to look around the cabin for something to hit the time glass.

She looked in a trunk and was grossed out to find a pair of underwear. But she was finally able to find wooden cane that might just work.

"This should do the trick" she said as she went to the time glass.

She then used the top of the cane to smash the time glass as the sand and pieces of glass shot everywhere. Peter felt himself get better as Neverland was also started to get better. Peter and Neverland were finally saved.
