It was back in 2006 when Emily heard the song that she absolutely admired. She didnt quite know what it was called, but she remembered the singers voice entirely. She was leaving school with her friend Max, and was watching a YouTube video while they lied on the grass by the parking lot while waiting to go home. She had earbuds in and listened to the song carefully, holding her IPhone above her head to look at the video that came with it. The video was about several surprise homecomings with people in the Military. Her head rested on her back pack next to Max who was staring at the sky intently, obviously deep in thought.
