I walked downstairs to see what all the ruckus was about.
"No,but I want it."
"Not yet."
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Mommy,dad won't let me open my presents."
"Kendall,why not?" I asked.
"Cuz,its Christmas eve,not Christmas,"he replied.
"So,then let him open one,"I said.
"Ok,fine 1 then off to bed."
"Woo!"He said and ran to open a gift.
"Ok,now off to bed,"Kendall said.
"Ok,"he said and left.
"Why're you so mean to him?"
"AM NOT!"
"Sheesh,no need to get all defensive."
"Emily,can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"Are you happy?"
"What do you mean?"I asked.
"You know with all the paparazzi,sometimes I feel like you regret getting married to me."
"I'm perfectly happy," I said.
"Good,"he said looking at the clock 12:02am,"see now it Christmas."
He pulled out a tiny box,"open it," he said & I did.
Inside was the cutest bracelet I had ever seen.
"Kendall,this is so cute,"I said.
"I wanted for you to have something,for when you leave,so you'll remember me."
"Oh,please,I could never forget you,"I said,"but promise me you'll come to visit."
"Of course,"he said giving me a kiss,"it's really going to be hard with out you."
"You'll manage,"I said "I know it."
"Really?"He asked,taking the bracelet out of the box.
"Yep," I said as he put it on me.
"You know,you really didn't have to do this,"I said adjusting the bracelet.
"Wait,what?Really?"He said jokingly,"I can return it."
"Hell no,it is so cute," I said.
"I know,I wouldn't ever do that,"he said& gave me another kiss,"Merry Christmas,babe."
"Merry Christmas,"I said giving him a kiss.
"It really is gonna be hard with out you,"he said as layed down in his lap.
"I know you'll manage."
