Chapter 3

I woke up with smile on my enough sleep face, it's my first day on my job and I'm so excited but confused at the same time because I still wondering why did they accept me directly, because to be honest I don't have any experience in that field. Do they really need a new Secretary? Or Nobody apply for that position? But that's not possible, there's so many people out there just like me looking for a job. Hmm, Whatever then, Now is the time to focus because that job is already mine.

I prepared myself before 8 to eat my breakfast with Scarlett, finally I won't wake up alone now.

"So, you ready for the first day?" Scarlett asked while putting the pancake to our plate

I winked at her

"Of course I'm ready, didn't you see last night I sleep so early after buy these clothes?" I said pointing my face and my outfit

"Here, I made you a pancake for breakfast and hope you enjoy it, because Clint will pick me up in," she paused looking at her wrist watch

"Five minutes, well I gotta go to the lobby wait for him, See you later bunny," She gave me a hug walked out to the door

"HAVE A NICE DAY," I said when she closed the door

I finished my pancake and coffee and get ready for work, then I put on some natural make up on my face and put on my heels just not too high. Its Seven already so I packed things that important in my handbag like phone charger, wallet, and stuffs, and I went to downstairs to the parking lot to find my car and headed to DC Tower. It's still early but you never know the traffic in New York.

I arrived at DC Tower at 8 am sharp, It's not that tall, but nice building they have here I like the surrounding. I finally reach the receptionist table, there's a woman behind the desk smiling at me when i reach her 

"Good Morning Miss, How can I help you?" She said

"I'm Alexandra Johnson, today is my first day of work as a secretary. Can you tell me where the office is?" I asked

"Oh right, Miss Johnson, Welcome to DC Tower, Mr. Brooke is waiting for you upstairs at 28th Floor. Just walk straight to the elevator behind you," The Woman whose name is Carla from her name tag

"Thank you very much Carla," I smiled at her and walked away

I reach the 28th floor and got out from the elevator, when I walked a bit far from the elevator I look at the man who passed me to other way talking on the phone with open file in his hand. He looks familiar but I'm not sure about it and he sure look busy.

Then I asked the janitor there for Mr. Brooke's room and I went there straight when he shows me the direction. Now I stand infront of the door with a name plate on it

I knocked on the door waiting for his permission to enter the room

"Come in," Mr. Brooke said from inside

I gently open the door and walked inside to the chair infront of his desk

"Good Morning Mr. Brooke," I smiled at him

He look at me and smile

"You must be Alexandra Johnson, right?" He said with a Starbucks cup in his hand and pointing at me

I nodded

"Please Sit down," he said to me before sipping his drink from the cup

"I'm Nathan Brooke, the managing director in this company. Today, you'll start work here, your room will be exactly beside the boss, Mr. Downey," He took out some papers and put it on the desk
