Chapter 7

The weekend went fast and Scarlett is back from their mini vacation but Dion and My parents is still in Bahamas, they'll be back this weekend. I said the weekend went fast because now is wednesday already, I just hoping no more drama at the office with Robert's PC and a weird client visit. Talk about Robert, Okay I spend my weekend with him, Literally only with him, he took me to dinner last time, not just a dinner but dinner in a fancy restaurant, kind of a dinner date. I don't know if he playing with me or not, I know he's a sweet guy but I don't know about his relationship with women, what if he playing with new girls at the office? Who knows.

Today I decided not to taking my car with me, as usual I take a cab to Starbucks near DC Tower and get some coffee before walking to the building. The weather is good today and I was thinking to get an Ice cream later at lunch. When I almost reach the main entrance of the building i heard someone yell my name, I turned around and found Kyle

The Ex is back, wtf

I look at him with a fake smile on my face greeted him

"Alex, you're back from LA," Kyle said giving me a hug

Well he's a cute guy and smart but trust me he was total jerk back in high school, I regretted every decision I made to be with him in High school. He was in the basketball team and that's all he cares about and he stood me up few times with basketball practice as an excuse although our dates was on the weekend, I was in a basketball team too but we never practice everyday especially weekend. Scarlett always told me he doing things with other girls but i never listen to her till i caught him making out with a cheerleader member outside the gym after my practice, and I just knew that they've seen each other for a month behind my back, can you believe that? I broke up with him right there and never talked to him again. that was the worst 5 months ever.

"Hey Kyle, didn't expect to see you here, What are you doing here?" I pulled away quickly

"I have a meeting with the start-up company here, So What are you up to?" He asked me

I remembered Robert said he lent a working space in this building for some media and a start-up company that still don't have their own place.

I looked at my phone to check the time, I hope i'm not late

"I work here, and I almost late I think" I point the building

"Oh, I walked you inside, let's go," He pulled me to walk with him to the main entrance

I quickly get his hand off before we even get inside the building to the front of elevator

"Well this is it, I gotta go now," I said with once again a fake smile

"I hope to see you again next time, tell Dion I say hi," he said and give me a big hug this time

But before he let go I heard someone cleared his throat behind me

"Miss Johnson, you're late, get to your office now," that stern voice

Shit, Robert

I quickly get out from Kyle embrace and face him

"Well, hello Robert, Nice to see you," Kyle waved and smile at Robert I could tell its a fake smile

how did he know Robert?

"I gotta go now, Bye Alex," he said finally walked out from the building

This is not gonna be good, and how did he know Robert?

I quickly get to the elevator to my office with Robert with other people luckily, when we arrived I go straight to my office without saying anything to him. I'm still thinking about what happened recently, Robert, Me, and Kyle. I wonder how Robert feel seeing me like that and he sounds jealous, or maybe he just being professional in front other people
