"Best friend give me a hug" Shian, shiloh's mother immediately ran towards me

This was a happy moment because I hadn't seen her in years but the only reason she was here was because of the news we had just heard. By the end of this week they would pull the plug on baby. I just don't understand how they could give up on my baby

"We have to go see my God daughter now" Shian demanded

I couldn't help but laugh a little. Shian and I met through the girls when they were about eleven and have been inseparable ever since so in a sense she was Jayda's God mom

"How is desire?" She ask

"She's good. I mean she's sad still asking when Jayda gone wake up but since her daddy's around she seems happier"

"Whoa how come I'm just now hearing bout this. .. how'd yall get in contact? I thought he wanted to do nothing with desire?"

"Knowing him he still don't just didn't want to get out bout him being a dead beat and all" I explain while rolling my eyes

"Uh uh don't do that!"

"What!"

"You don't even know the boy... yea he made a mistake but he was young you see him tryna fix it now right... and you just mad that he took your little girls innocence let it go tajha"

"No I'm mad because he ruined her life.. my baby was supposed to go to med school but she had to settle for a rn while he got to go on and live his dreams.. she wasn't ready for a kid just as much as he was but she did what she had too"

"Do you love desire?" She ask

"What do you mean of course I do what type of question is that"

"How could you hate him so much, without him she wouldn't be here"

I rolled My eyes realizing she was right... the rest of the ride was quiet

Once we got to the hospital which was like my second home for the last month we headed straight for the family room that was reserved specifically for us

"Granny" Desire yells before attacking my legs with her death grip hug

"Hey baby... how's your new school you liking it" I ask excited to see her

"No" she pouts

"And why not missy?"

"We have to wear uniforms daddy says it's a good school though"

I couldn't help but smile

"I guess granny shi invisible huh?" Shian Butts in

"Of course not... hi granny" she skips over to her and pulls her in a hug

"Mom when did you get here?" Shiloh ask stepping into the room

Noticing how red and puffy her eyes was I felt bad. I should've known nick was abusing jayda I could've save her

"I just flew in baby how you doing"

"I'm trying mom" You could here her voice crack

I started to tear up too... hearing the door crack I looked up to see demaryius enter I don't even have time to throw shade

"Hi demaryius you don't know me but I'm desires granny shian and Jayda's God mom... how are you doing?" Shian greets

"Um... I'm ok, stressed about all this... ms. Nastajha can I talk to you" he asked turning my way

Before I could refuse shi nudged me

"Yea.. cmon"

Following him out of the room I couldn't possibly think of what he wanted to tell me

"So shiloh told me about them tryna pull the plug"

"Yea"

"I don't know if you agree or not but I just can't give up on her that easy man.. my daughter needs her"

"What can we do demaryius?!" I yell sounding harsher then I meant to

"I called some other hospitals who are willing to keep her hooked up I talked to this hospital and offered a little money they willing to keep her here too...i mean she's your daughter whatever you wanna do I'm here I'll pay for everything too"

I couldn't help but pull him into a hug... thank God he's here
