"Happy birthday mommy" I whisper to myself

Why won't she wake up? Does she not miss me? I asked myself and instantly tears came I really don't wanna go to school today

Hearing my door crack open I knew it was my daddy

"Morning baby... you ready to get dressed?" He asked while sitting on the edge of my bed

"Daddy I don't wanna go I don't feel good I think I have the flu"

"Hmm you sure cause just last night you was fine... tell daddy was wrong is somebody messing with you at school?"

"No daddy everybody is my friend" I tell him while giggling a little

"Just making sure... why you don't wanna go to school?"

"I miss mommy" I whisper

"And it's her birthday so you wanna go see her? I can make that happen soon as schools over"

"No daddy I don't wanna see her... all she's gonna do is sleep... is mommy mad that I peed in the bed cause I'm sorry daddy tell her I won't do it again" I plead

"Cmere princess"

I climb into daddy's lap while drying my eyes

"Mommy's not mad at you ok? She loves you more then anything in this world"

"Then why won't she wake up?"

"Mommy's just really tired... but soon she gone wake up and you the only person she gonna want to see"

"What about my little brother in her tummy is he ever gonna come out"

"Uh... baby. . Your brother went away"

"Where to daddy why can't I go I wanna see him"

"Has mommy ever told you bout heaven"

"Yea that's where grandpa went" I say

"Your brother went there too... he went to be with grandpa but he told me to tell you that he loves you and you the best big sister on this earth"

"No way daddy he said that?"

"I knew all my kisses on mommies stomach would pay off... he felt all of them" I tell daddy

"You are so right now forget about school let's go get your mommy some gifts "
