For the thousandth time since the plane leaves the ground, Lily's laughter can be heard. I eye Lily and the guy before giving Abigail a little nudge in the rib.
"Literally hours ago she was complaining why she couldn't sit with us. Now it's like we're not here." I mutter, nodding in their direction.
Abi nods in agreement before studying the Korean travel guard that the flight has provided. I pull out the earphones out of the pocket of my bag, before plugging it to the tablet that I own. Looking at Abi and Lily for the last time, just to make sure they're not trying to talk to me or anything like that, I put the earphones in my ear before playing a song in full blast, not really caring about whether other people can hear it or not.
Probably too engrossed with the music that's blasting through my eardrums, I didn't realise Lily was calling for me, until Abi flicks my shoulder.
Giving them the death stare, I pull the earphone of my left ear and raise an eyebrow at them.
"The guy that sat next to me looks like Lay!" Lily proclaims her eyes wide in excitement.
"That's why he seems familiar!" Abi calls out.
"The fudge is Lay from EXO would be in this flight?" I question. Lily rolls her eyes and gives me a stare.
"Dude, I said he looks, like Lay, I didn't say that he is Lay."
I stick my tongue out at her and reposition myself in my seat before putting my earphone in my ear, totally blocking Lily and the rest of the people out. Two hours passed and Abi and I seem to get hyper more and more as the minute ticks slowly.
"Here, one plus one equal gwiyomi..." I sing and poke the forefinger of my left and right hand to both of my cheeks. Abi and I both do the actions together and stop when Lily starts laughing out loud. Abi turns around to find that the guy that sits next to Lily was looking at us.
Heat instantly rises up to my cheeks. No denying it that I'm embarrassed. From the look of it, Abi is too. "Just ignore them, they're just crazy like that." Lily assures the guy next to her. The guy laughs.
"I'm Zhang Yi Xing. Nice to meet you." He says, shaking Abi's hand.
"I'm Abigail, people call me Abi though." She says, flashing a polite smile, "This is Chloe."
The guy and I shake hands before going back to what we were doing. I sigh looking out the window, suddenly feeling extremely tired. Luckily Lily is the person that can get along with people easily. If it was me in her seat, it'd be so awkward. I look at Abi who's playing games in her phone before stifling a yawn and slowly close my eyes.
"Ya, ahjussi!" Lily calls out while slapping my shoulder. I open my eyes and quickly squint it when the brightness around me enters my vision. "What?" I ask groggily.
"Scoot over." Lily says which I obediently listen. I scoot over to the right and instruct the same thing to Abi. Lily then sits on the space from the scooting over me and Abi had done.
"Aren't you talking to Mr Zhang?" I ask jokingly.
"He's sleeping." Lily says before starts talking about random stuff like unicorns from over the rainbow. She can be weird sometimes, but I guess that's why we click so well.
"Wah! Finally here!" I say, stretching my arms out as we got out of the plane.
"I know right! The flight was way too long," Abi claims before stretching her own.
"Can't wait for tomorrow," Lily says, smiling broadly.
We pass the immigration and went straight to the baggage claim area. After about 20 minutes of waiting we claimed our luggages before walking out of security. As soon as we get outside of the airport, I am captivated. We all agree that we are lucky to be able to see such beauty of the night in Seoul. After hailing a taxi, we enter the car and tell the driver our destination. Just before my eyes could flutter close, the car stops and Lily thanked the driver and we grab our luggages from the trunk of the car and stand in front of the apartment like statues.
"I've always wanted to live in a place like this." Lily announces, looking at us.
"Me too! There might even be someone famous that lives here." I utter in excitement.
"We really should get inside now. It's freezing." Abi says, as she wraps her arms around herself.
We quickly climb the flight of stairs and unlock the door to our apartment. Leaving the luggage behind me, I hurriedly observe the rooms and claim the biggest one to be mine. I mean the girls accepted it, no complaints at all; do note the sarcasm.
We then finish unpacking our stuff at ten o'clock. But because we had spent ten hours in the air, by that time, all three of us are pretty much as tired as if we had run a thousand miles.
