I will cherish you forever. Prologue

(Aurora POV)

Walking home in pitch black was certainly not one of my best ideas, I'll admit. Things in the dark seemed more...eerie, uncertain.
No lampposts held their light and the night was starting to get freakishly cold.
The entire park looked empty and strange...like someone or something was watching me?

I needed to stay calm, stop overthinking things and just talk to myself. Tomorrow I would have a full blown conversation with mum and later i'll even try and seem remotely interested in dads... something was completely off, a twig snapped in the distance.

What the fuck was that? Pure panic held my body while I whipped my head to the side, it was too late.

"W-who are you?" Stuttering as stone cold fear plagued my body. Instincts kicked in as I tried to run but a strong arm encircled my waist as a hand filled with a sickly smell went straight to my mouth.

"Please do-ont kill me-e..." Muffling while losing consciousness, I struggled against his strong grip as I felt a hand stroke my cheek.

"I'm not going to kill you my sweet, I'm going to cherish you...forever."

My last thoughts of my parents disappointed faces came to mind, they had always told me never to walk home alone at night. It was too late now, those thoughts seemed to drift off like the sea as I felt engulfed by the waves, I hope I see them again.
Sickly darkness clouded my mind, washed over my body as I fell into blackness.

(Unknown POV)

Watching and waiting, I saw the angel sprinting across the deep dark of the night; the blackness could never hide her beauty away from me.

I silently padded across the grass towards her moving figure. I've waited too long for this; a whole year had passed. Watching her every moment, it had been hard to endure.

Slowly putting my mind to rest with the fact that she would become mine in seconds, I sprinted a couple yards towards her.

I just had too....a twig snapped under my foot. Making a break for it, I sprinted towards her as she whipped her head around to face me.

As her face came into full view, I was momentarily distracted by her beauty. Please god, make me worthy of this angel.

"W-who are you?" she stuttered. As she began to run, I grabbed her softly trying not to hurt her precious body as I put chloroform over her nose and mouth. Hearing her muffled cries, I needed to get her back quickly before anyone came about.
"P-please don't kill me."
Keeping my hand firmly over her mouth. I kissed her cheek.
"I'm not going to kill you my sweet"
I whispered until I felt her beautiful body go limp in my arms as she fell into an unconscious state. Stroking her hair and face I felt blessed, like a miracle had been put into my arms; Hair like sunshine, skin as soft as petals.

Hooping my right arm under her legs as her head rested against my shoulder I quickened my pace as I carried her to my van.

Carefully placing her into the back seat, I stroked her face one last time. She was perfect.
Closing the back door and getting into the front seat, grabbing my keys from my right pocket and turning on the engine as I closed the door.

Finally after all this time, she was mine to control. Smiling at myself, I drove to our home.
