Cassia McRae is exactly what people would call the 'full package'. She's beautiful and intelligent, confident and friendly... Some might even consider her perfect.
But as we know, there is no such thing as perfection.
Someone seemingly as flawless as Cassia has problems too.
In fact. The term 'dirty little secrets' has never been so fitting. It's just that, obviously, she lets no one in on them.
Except, maybe, somebody just as screwed up as herself.
Somebody like Dante Nichols.
Dante. Another one living behind a mask. Popular as hell, with amazing looks and the confidence and charisma to match, he's seen as a golden boy by anyone who lays eyes on him.
But underneath it all, he's a broken boy, buckling under expectations and barely holding himself together only because of sheer necessity.
What happens when two screwed up kids find each other? Negative times negative equals positive. Right?
It could go two ways. Either they manage, somehow, to fix each other, or they cause themselves greater destruction.
Tides change and people go too. Relationships are a risk, and some are just predestined to fail.
After all, everything has a deadline.
