He peeked into her room shyly, watching her from behind the outer wall of her room. She was twirling on her the edge of her toes, her tiny tutu emphasizing the grace of her movements in which she put her heart and soul into. His amber eyes widened, conveying the evident admiration he felt towards her due to her elegance that could not be defined through words. He felt his heart flutter against his chest like a caged bird. However, simultaneously, he felt the nerves around his heart clench his heart tightly, like vines wrapped around a bird's foot, clenching it's foot tightly, preventing it from moving. This was because he knew no matter how much he loved her, how much he wanted her, she would never be his for they were linked by blood. This meant that any romantic feelings they harboured for each other within their hearts, any romantic feelings that weren't the type of feelings that siblings should have for each other, would have to burned away. Each passing year, each passing month, each passing week, each passing day, every minute, every second Zuko spent trying to distance himself away from his younger sister, and to destroy the forbidden feelings he harboured within his heart towards her. However, his efforts resulted in as nothing but vain attempts, which left him feeling hopeless. And hence, he decided to be true to himself, and accept the prohibited feelings he had towards the younger Fire Nation Princess, deciding that he would tell no one about it, expect the Princess herself. Unfortunately for him, his other sister as well as his worst enemy had caught onto this, and decided to use this to her advantage. "Zuzu, pass the sauce," Azula ordered in a cunning voice. "Get it yourself," Zuko snapped, looking at Azula with annoyed eyes. His response caused her to glare at him. "Zuko can you pass the sauce please?" [Name] asked, poking her older brother's cheek, and smiling innocently at him. Her pure smile caused Zuko's cheeks to turn red, as he immediately handed her the sauce. "Here you go," He said smiling at her. The [H/C] female thanked him and returned his smile. Although, the atmosphere around those two was warm, there was also someone whom around the atmosphere was cold. Azula glared at her siblings with fierce eyes before her eyes widened a fraction, and a cruel smile appeared on her face. "Zuzu," She called, smirking. Zuko ignored her, while he was preoccupied with teasing his younger sister. "Zuzu," Azula called once more with annoyance evident in her voice this time. And once again, she was ignored. This caused her to furrow her eyebrows in anger as she whirled her head towards her younger sister, [Name], calling her. "Yes?" [Name] asked giggling, while she tried to swat away Zuko fingers, which were attacking the ticklish spots on her neck. "What would you do if you're older brother was in love with y-" Azula began, but she unable to finish her sentence because Zuko had jolted up from his chair, and jump across the table next to Azula, putting a hand on her mouth, silencing her. "Wha..?" The [H/C] female wondered, tilting her head in confusion. "Nothing, don't worry about it. Just wait here for a few minutes okay? Azula and I need to have an older sibling talk," Zuko said, giving her a fake smile, as he narrowed his eyes at Azula. The said female ripped his hand off her mouth, her lips twitching upwards into a smirk. "Okay," [Name] chirped, smiling at them, as she returned back to eating her lunch. "Azula," Zuko called, tilting his head, motioning her to follow him. The said female easily obliged, with an enormous grin on her face. "What was that all about?" Zuko hissed, once they were in the royal garden, out of sight from everyone else. "Oh, what do you ever mean? Zuzu," Azula said, blinking innocently, but her menacing expression gave her away. "You know what I mean!" Zuko snapped, his nose flaring in anger. "You weren't giving me the sauce," Azula replied easily, picking her nails. "And what!? You decided to start talking nonsense because of that?" Zuko hissed. Azula stared at him with a bored expression on her face. "Exactly, it was nonsense. Why are you so angry about it?" She began, before a smirk appeared on her face. "Unless, what I was going to say is true," She remarked. Zuko's eyes widened before he glared at her. "I don't know what you are talking about," He said quickly with an agitated voice. His response caused Azula to sigh in disappointment, before she shrugged and began to walk away from him. After she was a few metres away from Zuko, she stopped and turned slightly to look at him."Getting what we want is in our blood, regardless of who we have to hurt. And, the next time you are near [Name], I want you to examine her physical features closely. Also Zuzu, you're such a pathetic liar that it's embarrassing," Azula said smirking, before she turned around and walked away. Zuko clenched his hands into fists , and glared at the spot where Azula previously stood, before he stomped away in anger. ~**~[Name] sat near the pond in Royal Garden, where a herd of ducks were swimming. She looked around her to make sure no one was around her, before she sighed in relief. She turned towards the small pond, and began to concentrate hard on a specific spot. Her fingers twitched slightly, before she moved her hand in to 'c' motion. This caused a wave to arise within the pond, as it rose, and moved into a 'c' motion, similar to [Name]'s hand motion. The [H/C] female's eyes widened and her lips widened into a broad smile. She was about to do waterbend once more, when she heard a crunching noise. Instantly, [Name] dropped her hand to her side, and frantically turned her head towards the source of the sound. "Who's there?" She inquired as a shiver ran down her spine. She was responded by silence. However, moments later, Zuko stepped out from behind a tree saying, "It's me." [Name]'s eyes widened before she sighed in relief, and smiled at Zuko. "Hey brother," She greeted, laughing nervously. Zuko raised an eyebrow at her unusual behaviour, before he smiled at her. However, his smile disappeared as soon it had appeared, turning into a frown. "[Name]," Zuko called with a serious voice, while he took a step closer towards her. "Yes?" [Name] asked, her eyes widening a fraction. Zuko continued to walk until he stood only a few centimetres away from [Name]. He gazed at her with loving amber eyes, as he brushed a lock of her hair, away from her eyes. The [H/C] female felt a shiver run down spine, when she felt Zuko's skin brush against her own. "W-What's wrong?" [Name] asked with a bewildered expression. "I.. " Zuko began, cupping her cheek, which caused the hair on the back of her neck to stand up, and she began to feel her stomach churn. "W-Wha-" [Name] said, but she was cut off when she felt soft lips connect with her own. "I love you," Zuko muttered, before he leaned towards [Name]'s lips, and kissed them. This unexpected action caused her to freeze in shock. Zuko misunderstood her shock, thinking that she returned his feelings. This caused him to smile into their kiss, as he wrapped an arm around her waist. The second he did so, [Name] viciously pushed him away, surprising him and causing his eyes to widen. Then without being aware of her actions, she moved her arms in a snake shape motion, which caused the water from within the pond beside her, to rise. She made a cutting arm motion in the air, which caused the water to fly towards Zuko, drenching his legs. [Name] clenched her hand into a fist, which caused the water to turn into ice, and hence, his legs were frozen. "You're a Waterbender?" Zuko exclaimed in surprise, staring down at his frozen legs. [Name]'s eyes widened as she realized what she had done. And instantly, the disgusted expression on her face morphed into a panicked one. The [H/C] female's fingers twitched, before she turned around and began to run away from Zuko. Zuko stood still with a surprised face, because he was trying to comprehend how his 'sister', whose appearance was similar to a Fire Nation citizen, could be a waterbender. However soon, his confused expression changed into a devious one, and his lips twitched upwards into a smirk, because Zuko had realized the hidden message within Azula's words from before. 'The next time you are near [Name], I want you to examine her physical features closely.' Now, that Zuko reflected on his real sister's words, he realized that while Azula and himself had amber eyes, [Name]'s eyes were dark amber - almost brown. This caused Zuko's heart to beat faster in excitement as he grasped the fact that the love he felt towards [Name], did not had to be a form of forbidden love anymore. And with that thought, Zuko ran after his 'supposedly sister,' with eager determination to claim her as his. Simultaneously, his blood began to pump faster at all the possibilities to what he could finally do to her without being embarrassed, ran within his mind.
In conclusion, Azula is truly a people person because her phrase "Getting what we want is in our blood, regardless of who we have to hurt,' demonstrates that Zuko is willing to force his love upon [Name], to fill his own selfish desires.
