i could tell James wasn't far behind.

I could feel his presence behind me which frightened me but also puts a stupid grin on my face.

While trying my hardest to pick up the pace I know I'm no match..

Though thinking I've out ran him

I start to slow down a bit

but oh how I was wrong..

James charges straight for me and tackles me to the ground

( making sure I don't get hurt though ).

I scream and try to wiggle from his grasp but he's got a tight hold on me.

He starts to poke me in the stomach

squealing I tell him to stop.

He obviously

a. didn't hear me or

b. decided to completely ignore me.

" Tell me that I am an awesome runner and I'm better than you at netball " he says

" or you will be tickled to death "

he starts to tickle me just to make a point and through the laughter I'm squeal

" no way, you can't do that.."

"I admit you're a douche though ."

Him hearing this stops ,

and my back is just laying on his chest with his arms wrapped around my stomach.

I can feel him breathing in and out.

it starts to send shivers up my body.

He's silent for a moment.

I try to quietly and slowly get free.

He sighs

" okay....THAT'S IT"

he starts tickling me again and I try to get free.

For a moment I think I'm winning,

I'm getting free!

But the other half of me is thinking

' he's letting you do this, he'll just catch you again' '

I didn't care,

I wanted him to stop.

It felt like i was going to die from so much tickling and laughing.

So pulling away I get up and run.

All the while im shouting back

' see ! I'm stronger than you!'

' I got away!'.

James throws his head back and laughs.

' Yeah you think you are huh?'

' Well you may be stronger but I'm FASTER than you !'

He gets up and starts to sprint towards me.

Knowing he'll catch me and it'll just be dejavu all over again I turn around and jump straight in his arms.

I wrap my legs tightly around his waist and my arms around his neck .

Being startled by this James sways and wobbles a bit but quickly gains his balance.

I smile cheekily

' well, it looks like I've got YOU now!'

He laughs

' you're such a cheeky monkey !'

I slowly get down and take his hand and start to bop up and down while swinging his hand .

' Well at least it got you to stop attacking me .'

We stop walking and I can feel him staring at me.

I slowly turn and look him in the eye and seeing that twinkle in his eyes

I smile.

He softly smiles back at me and tips his head slightly to the left

'' you've got the most beautiful smile '

I look away and slightly blush to myself.

Something in the distance catches my eye:

I can see the picnic site and everyone is crowding around for dessert.

Knowing what was coming next I let go of James's hand and cover my ears.

James looks at me and i give him a

' wait and see ' look.

half a second later dads whistle sounds throughout the park .

I take my hands off my ears and explain

' I don't like my dads whistles "

James laughs

" I was wondering what you were doing. They are quite loud. Race you back?" ..

. " yeah, and if you lose I get your piece of cake " I reply.

Looking up from his beautiful chocolate eyes that made my heart flutter like the first time he murmurs

" oh it's on.. It's on like donkey kong! "
