"I have a few ideas," McKenna says.
"Well are you going to tell me?" I ask. "I can't read minds you know."
McKenna laughs. "I think they're going to see Hayley." My expression hardens. "What? Don't you like her?"
"She despises me! Her and Cassie both hate me!" I exclaim. "If I show my face to Hayley, she'll certainly kill me on the spot."
"That won't happen," McKenna says. "Jack won't let her kill you. I certainly won't let her."
"Thanks," I say. "It means a lot."
McKenna smiles at me. "Don't mention it." She points her wand and creates a viewing portal. We see Scarlett, Jack, and Hayley all talking.
"Not this jerk again," Hayley says. "I thought I already saw the last of him when he brutally murdered one of my good friends?"
"He's on our side now," McKenna says.
"I don't trust him for a moment," Hayley says.
"Do you trust Leo?" McKenna asks. "Because Leo trusts him."
"What do you want McKenna?" Jack asks. "We're in the middle of actually making a plan to save Leo."
"Leo didn't want to be saved," McKenna says. "I thought he made that pretty clear when he basically sacrificed himself."
Hayley makes the portal a walking portal. "He did what now? That idiot."
McKenna and I step through. I immediately sense the change in environment. I look around the house. It's much smaller than the penthouse Jack and McKenna live in, that's for sure.
"He did it for all of us," Scarlett says. "He did it for everyone. He's a true hero."
"Still an idiot," Hayley says. "But I like him. I like his moxie."
"His what?" I ask.
"His determination, is what it means," Hayley says. "Anyway, back to the plan."
"Bring us up to speed on what you've decided so far," McKenna says.
"Well we actually were piecing together the missing pieces to the prophecy," Scarlett says. "We have to do that before we strategize."
"Alright, what have you come up with?" I ask.
Jack, Scarlett, and Hayley all look at each other then back to McKenna and I.
"We've come to the consensus that it will take one of each kind to kill Sofia," Jack says.
"Well were missing two, technically three if you count Patricia being dead" I say. "So that theory is out."
"Not necessarily," Scarlett says. "If we get Ember on our team, she can make up for the two missing kinds."
"We don't have an Aguamite, Occulite, or Purificator," I say. "She can only do two of those things."
"You could make up for the Aguamite," Jack says. "You can control the hydrogen and oxygen to make water."
"How would I represent a Pocionizer then?" I ask.
"Well you technically would be," Hayley says. "Hydrogen and oxygen are elements."
"That's a loophole. I don't think it'll work," McKenna says. "Just use another element of your choice."
"Alright," I say. "So how are we going to get Ember on our side?"
"I think Leo can get that under control," Scarlett says. "I just hope he thinks of it."
"Leo's a clever cookie," Jack says. "He'll think of it."
"What now?" McKenna asks.
"We wait for him to come to us," Jack says.
"How will he know where to find us?" I ask.
"He'll know," Jack says. "He's good like that."
