When you lose someone, it stays with you. It's always reminding you how easy it is to get hurt, but, in the end, you'll see them again. I would know. I lost everyone closest to me, but I ended up seeing them again. Don't dwell on the past because you can't change it. You can only change what you do right now at this moment. Don't pass up opportunities by living in the past, because you just might miss an adventure. Take it from me, I had some pretty exhilarating adventures. Now I don't want tears just because my story is finished because it isn't really finished. No one's story is really finished. My legacy will live on for future generations to come. I hope what I've done will be enough to keep the peace between the remaining kinds.

Oh and one more thing, if you wake up one day with powers, make sure to use them for good.

"Oh come on. You know you want to check it out with me," Leo says, elbowing Abigail.

"Leo we don't even know if it'll work," Abigail says. "It's not a straight window to that place. It can show you tricks. You have to be focused and know exactly what you want to see. It's not an exact science."

"Won't know until you try," Leo says with a smirk. He puts an arm around her. "Don't you want to know if-"

She removes his arm and slugs him. "I get the picture. Shouldn't we get the others?"

"They wouldn't understand," Leo says.

They start walking.

"Why would you even want to look through it?" Abigail asks.

"Well, I'd like to know I died for a purpose," Leo says.

"Leo, you succeeded," Abigail says. "You wouldn't be here if you didn't."

"I need to know for sure," Leo says.

The two walk up to a window.

"I don't want to look down there," Abigail says.

"Come on Abigail," Leo says as he takes her hand and walks up to the window. They look though. "It's dark. Why can't I see anything?"

"It's for punished souls Leo, did you really expect to see any light?" Abigail asks.

"So we actually don't know," Leo says, turning to her.

"Sorry Leo," Abigail says. Leo looks back at the window. "Come on, let's head back. He's probably going through a test to see if he really changed his ways. That is what happens to some."

"Oh come on Abigail. One more look," Leo says. "I have a good feeling about this one."

Abigail sighs and they look through the window once more. They looked a bit closer and see something shimmer through the window, something with an all too familiar dark blue tint to it. Abigail looks at Leo with wide eyes.

"Not a word to the others. We can't risk anyone breaking this window or something. Not like that could happen, right?" Leo asks.

Abigail shrugs. "There are some people up here who are crazy enough to do it." She looks at Leo. "I'm talking about you."

They exchange a look and chuckle. Leo and Abigail head back to the others and never speak of what they saw again. Perhaps not knowing the truth is best, because one is never truly safe. Not even after death.
