Number 4: Being At The VMA's With Them

Niall

This year, Niall asked you to go with him to the VMA's. He was eager to show you off, and the time away sounded like a good idea so away you went. You spent the day getting ready and it all paid off when you stepped out of the limo to the roaring screams. You and Niall walked down the black carpet, a little behind the rest of the boys, answering questions. People were curious about your relationship and where you were at. You two were a mystery, keeping much of your relationship private. You answered a few questions before heading in. You sat a row behind Niall and he spent the whole show with his arm slung over the back of the chair so you could hold his hand. You met some really cool people like Katy Perry and Rhianna, which left you slightly startstruck. Overall, it was awesome and you couldn’t wait to go back again next year.

Louis

You and Louis had just come out with your relationship and you were a huge deal. In saying that, when the invite for the VMA's showed up, the two of your were invited. It would be your first public event as a couple, and that alone was enough for you to want to look your best. You finally settled on the perfect look, and you were proved right by the scream of the crowd when you and Louis arrived. Paparazzi called your name, wanting to know more about Louis’s new girl. You answered a few simple questions before heading in with Louis and the rest of the boys. The girlfriends were actually invited to sit next to the boys this year, and it was nice to be able to laugh along at the show with Louis.

Liam

To say you were nervous to go to the VMA's would be a drastic understatement. You had looked at over a hundred dresses, hired the best make up artist you could find and had Lou practice doing your hair five times before the big day. You felt almost like it was your wedding. This was all because the fans didn’t know who you were. Not a photo, not a tweet, nothing connected you to Liam until tonight. Liam was offered to bring a guest to the show, and you figured what better time to come out with your relationship than here. When Liam got out, everyone cheered. Confusion arose as he helped you out. The lucky first interviewer asked who you were, and Liam announced you were his girlfriend. It was a crazy whirlwind of people wanting to know who you were, and you became a little overwhelmed. You barely got to answer any questions before Liam rushed you in. Through out the whole show, #Newpowercouple(Y/N)andLiam trended, which felt pretty cool to you.

Harry

You weren’t just invited as Harry’s date to the VMA's this year, like you had been the last two years. Since announcing your engagement, you and Harry were all anybody could talk about. The VMA's asked if you could present the award for most romantic video, a new criteria they had added. You obviously got the royal treatment before showing up to the event. You basically stood arm in arm with Harry down the carpet and into the venue. You were so focused on being a presenter, you basically zoned out the whole carpet anyway. You and Harry were ushered backstage about halfway through the show to get ready to present. When the two of you walked out, the crowd roared. The two of you made a cute little speech and sealed it with a kiss before announcing the winner together. It ended up being Ed Sheeran, who you and Harry knew very well. It made the whole experience even better, being able to give the award to someone you also like.

Zayn

Unlike other award shows that you had been to in the past with Zayn, you were really excited for this one. You had watched the VMA's growing up, so it was surreal to be arm in arm with Zayn, about to walk the black carpet. As the limo pulled up, he raced around to let the boys out. Zayn went last, helping you out. The cheers were surprisingly high, which got you really excited. You signed a few autographs and took a few pictures before getting to the press section of the walk. With Zayn sort of trailing behind, doing interviews with the boys the host of the preshow, you decided to answer a few questions. You answered them correctly and with a lot of grace. While you and Zayn had fun that night, the next morning was even better. You woke up to articles about how classy you were and how good of an impact you were having on Zayn. Management tried to make a habit of you being at award shows and premières because you were so good with the press.
