Amu slept sound, while Ikuto had recurring nightmares. It was nearly dawn when Amu opened her eyes. "I-Ikuto?" She called out softly, feeling his grip tighten. His eyes opened and he looked at her, with blank expression. "Yeah?" Ikuto replied and put his head over her shoulder. "Oh! Uh, just making sure you were okay, your grip tightened." Amu said, shocked. "Sorry I just don't feel well..." He said quietly. Amu turned around carefully in his arms. She touched the back of her hand to his forehead gently, "You're running a fever." Amu wrapped her arms around and and closed her eyes again. "Do you want anything?" She asked him softly as she buried her face in his warm shirt. "Some water, or something to drink." Ikuto replied, happily running her fingers through her hair. "I'll be back." She squirmed out of his arms and snuck down to the kitchen quietly.
