This is my variant of a jungle hut. You can see where they crossover, and that is where the farm and saplings are.
These are going to be open to the sky since it is a farm, as will the other one, once finished.
Here's where I found the original hut tutorial:
I believe the fifth one, or fourth one, has the tutorial. All I did was cross the two over each other.
