So, Wavenote chose to look upstairs! From now on, I'll update this twenty-four hours after the comment saying where to go, and if possible, I hope a few of you guys interact and it's not just one person. With that out of the way...
The second floor was also barren, though it looked like there is an attic and a doorway, leading to a balcony.
There is no sign of the noise that you heard, so you chose to go up to the attic or back down to the main floor, possibly to head to the basement. Nothing seemed abnormal.
Do you go up to the attic?
Or back down to the main floor to go into the basement?
