"Does Patrick seem a little odd to you recently?" You whispered to Andy while the three other guys were chatting across the bus.
"Uhhh, no. Does he to you?" Andy replied softly.
"I-uh... Just forget I said anything..." You slouched back on the couch, looking over to Patrick.
He was acting different, not smiling much, or talking. It made you worried about him, he seemed so happy just a few days ago.
"So, what do you guys say? Let's go out to a club and get our groove on later tonight!" Pete yelled out pumping his fist into the air.
"I'm in," Joe replied.
"Me too," Andy responded from next to you.
"Come on, Lunchbox! A night on the town is just what you need!" Pete smiled, slapping Patrick on the back.
"Pete, I dunno I just-"
"Come on, Pat... Please?" He repeated softer than the first time.
"Ugh... Fine, but only if you promise to never call me 'Pat' again."
"Deal," Pete jumped up from his seat, walking to where you and Andy sat.
He slid onto the seat next to you, slinging his arm around your shoulder, "So, what do you say, (Y/N)? You in?"
"Thanks, but I'll pass," You breathed out. "I'm kinda tired tonight, you guys have fun though."
He shrugged at you, suddenly jumping up to announce, "Alright, it's a guy's night out, then!"
Andy and Joe cheered, while Patrick just sat there solemnly. Something was was definitely wrong...

Patrick's POV
I was so not looking forward to tonight. Pete thought that if I just took my mind off of what happened I'd feel better. That's my problem though, nothing. Nothing happened. I was too much of a coward to tell her and now I feel like I never will...
The four of us all got dressed up to go out and said our goodbyes to (Y/N).
"Have fun, guys!" She said as she waved us off, only locking eyes with me for a split second.
~~~~~~
When we arrived at the club, it was just as I'd expected it to be. Ear-pounding music, tipsy people dancing badly, and a bunch of girls who weren't (Y/N).
"Come on, 'Trick! I'll get you a drink!" Pete yelled over the music.
"No, it's okay! I don't wan-" But, before I could finish my sentence he was already gone.
I went to the side of the dance floor where there were chairs lined up with various coats and pocketbooks draped over them. Finding a seat that was fairly empty, I sat down and tried to think about anything other than (Y/N).
"Having a good time yet?" A voice came from in front of me.
I looked up, Andy's sympathetic face stood in front of me.
I sighed, "Hardly..."
"Really? Why's that?" He pried, taking a sip of his (non-alcoholic) beverage.
