"Am I bothering you, Asano-kun?" His name now hitched in my throat, everytime I said it my voice would crack.
Asano nodded a little.
"You've distanced yourself from everyone. You used to always hang around your friends and now they never see you apart from class. What's going on, Mei-san?" He asked seriously, his violet eyes meeting my mercury ones.
Fear rushed through me.
I couldn't tell Asano the truth, about my parents, the hospital, my depression, everything.
My heart raced as I wondered about the lies I could say.
I bit my lip unconsciously.
"I'm dying." I settled for the plain truth. The one that bugged me.
