Percy POV
I had reached mount Olympus in about 2 hours. I had decided to run and not take a cab. So I couldn't be traced by the demigods. I went into the lobby and asked for the key to the 600th floor which I was promptly told there was no 600th floor. Until I grabbed my sword in which case he gave me the key and I rode the elevator to Olympus where I was hoping for my request to be granted. I got many stares as in walked past nymphs and minor gods to the throne room. I saw zues sitting in his throne and asked him politely to move his ass and get the other gods so I could make my request. He looked furious but shot lighting into the air anyway. One by one the gods flashed in and sat in their thrones. Hestia looked sad as she went to the hearth and not her throne.
My request is to die - I say in a tone that says I'm done.

Everyone except Ares voted I stay alive. Crap! I know what's coming next and I know the answer already so I do what a normal person would do I ran. I ran to the edge of Olympus and I jumped.
