Chapter 1

I am currently eating my lunch when I received a message from our group chat. I immediately clicked on it as I put food in my mouth.

KAT: I don't have anything to wear for the acquaintance party this weekend! Omg!

Grabe. But then, I'm fully aware she's a fashion enthusiast. Kailangan she looks good in everything that she wears. Sa Saturday na kasi ang acquaintance party, every year naman may ganito. I actually don't want to attend this year but unfortunately, I'm the Student Council President so I'm obliged to.

Me:

You have a lot of clothes, KAT. Wala ba talaga or excuse mo lang so you could buy new clothes?

Violet: Weh? @KAT

Violet replied to you: True

KAT: What?! It's true! Majority of my clothes are in pastels! Don't you think it's too out of place with the party theme? Duh.

Napatigil ako sa pagnguya. Right, that girl's wardrobe is just too soft, di nga bagay. Ang theme kasi ng party is gothic. Obviously the total opposite of what she had. Sadly, I cannot remember finding any dark colors sa wardrobe ni KAT before. She's a pastel girly. Pagkabukas mo ng closet niya para ka nang nasa candyland.

Violet: Kahit black wala ka?

KAT: I don't have a lot just the basics.

Me:

Hala, poor you. :(

KAT: Excuse me @Alysson?

Me:
What are you gonna do? Isang araw lang naman 'yon eh.

Violet: Bili ka nalang, sis. Waldas mo money mo ganon.

KAT: You're so kuripot @Alysson hmp
          :@Violet I am indeed doing that.

Violet: Ano? Magwaldas ng pera?

KAT: On buying! Dummy.

I giggled as I read their conversation. Hay ang cute nila

Me:
Ingat sa pagbili, mwa!

KAT: Don't ingat me, you have to come with me! I don't accept rejections!

And she went offline. She has always been like that. Sinasadya niya iyang pag out niya para wala kaming choice but to do what she asks us to do. Feeling niya kasi minsan siya yung pinakabata eh si Violet ang youngest sa'ming tatlo.

I quickly finished my food and went upstairs to get dressed. I usually dress simply, you know, just something casual. However, I sometimes need to be at style kasi everytime kasama namin si KAT, nagmumukha akong basahan. Ang hilig-hilig mag OOTD aakalain mong rarampa sa runway! What makes it worse is that she's a pretty face and with that, automatically a head-turner.

I decided to wear high-waisted light blue denim shorts and a plain black tank top, pinatungan ko lang ng long-sleeved white polo. Then I took a pair of plain white disruptor to finish my look.

Whatever. Bahala na magmukhang basahan mamaya. You see, kahit gaano mo pa kagusto maging stylish and whatnot, babagsak at babagsak ka parin sa kung saan ka komportable and there's nothing wrong about it.
