In this poem, she talks about how our words can hurt people.Sometimes we don't mean to but it can actually hurt others.She continue to talk about, how we need to stand up for ourselves for our own survival.When you are down people might start ignoring you or just watch your miserable self without giving a hand. That's when you know who are your true friends are .She ends with no matter what we still need to pick ourselves up and fight our battle.
Well I love this poem .It is very meaningful . Ironically, I have a friend that resembles the story.So it really touches my heart when i read it and realize how fortunate of me to have small group of friends who will be there for me rather than the fake friends who will hang out only when you are at your good times.
