As you probably already know, this is a compilation of one- shots....

So, I'll start off....

(Disclaimer: Trigger possible; Some violence ahead....)

Calm down and just enter , I tell myself.

Taking a deep breath, I push open the door.

I walk into the hall, nervous.

The last time I was here, I nearly lost my life.

My eyes warily scanned the faces in the hallway.

Everyone's in their own world, and I'm about to go back out when a familiar voice yells, "Joelle!!"

Sighing, I turn around to see the speaker.

He looks surprised to see me there.

'Course he would be.

I'm not supposed to be back, not this soon....

But I just had to come; Ashton's been suffering enough without me there to protect him.

"Joelle?? How come you're back??" asks the same guy who called me, Bronx.

I give a little growl and snap, "What's it to you??"

Bronx steps back but soon smiles widely, "Well, you don't happen to know what happened to your 'friend' when you were away, do you??"

My heart jumps up to my throat.

"What did you do??" I yell (more or less).

Bronx starts laughing and seems to be enjoying this a lot.

"Tell me!!" I scream as I walk towards him.

"Well, you've got to see!!" he says as he starts walking and beckons for me to follow.

Though I have my doubts about this, I still follow him.

A few minutes later, Bronx literally drags me with my hand and onto a dais.

I freeze in place as I see the sight in front of me.

Bronx runs up to his friends, all the time yelling, "Look who's here!! Look who's here!!"

Upon seeing me, all of them freeze as well.

Some of them start to go back to what they were doing, when I can't take it any longer.

I've been warned not to strain my injured parts, and to steer clear of any violence.

But this, I can't do anything; I can't just stand and observe as Ashton suffers.

I run towards him.

When he notices me, Ashton yells for me to go back.

But I don't stop.

Well, I do, but only because Bronx and his friends try to hold me back by knocking me out.

This is gonna be fatal, or, if not, terribly bad, says a little voice in my head.

But I ignore it.

I fight back, aiming not to kill, or to maim, but to evade them.

But it doesn't work.

A sensation of being ripped takes over my mind.

And, soon, I'm exhausted.

Sure, I tried, but I can't do any better.
