Dylan swung the door open and pushed me in. I was in a wheelchair considering my broken ribs have made me incapable of walking. Fun. Hint sarcasm.

"Alexis! You're back" I heard my mom yell from the kitchen

"Yeah" I said smiling "is dad here?" I asked hopefully.

"No he got called in, he has to work longer today" she answered. Oh. I looked down at my hands and shrugged.

"Oh, well uh that's okay I guess" I said. No it's not. I want to see my dad. I haven't seen him in a week.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Dylan asked. He knew I was upset. I looked up at him and nodded. He smiled down at me and pushed me into the lounge room. He picked me up wedding style and laid me on the couch.

"Stay right here" he said. I rolled my eyes

"Woof" I replied. It's not like I can go anywhere anyways. He chuckled and went to get some snacks. Ah he knows me so well. He came back with ice cream, popcorn, and chips. Calories are my favorite.

"Okay so what are you in the mood to watch?" He asked

"Something watchable" I said, he rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Well no duh" he said "what about a scary movie?" He asked. I nodded. I love scary movies. I don't get scared. Well I do, but I like to be scared for some weird reason. He laid down next to me on the couch and we cuddled. He gave me a kiss on the forehead. Which made my stomach implode with butterflies. His lips left a tingly feeling in my heart.

"I love you" I said. It felt so good to actually be able to tell him that. And it's true I do love him. I always will. Forever and always.

"I love you too princess" he said. I love it when he calls me princess. It makes me feel special. Like I'm the only girl in the world. The tv screen turned black, and it stayed that way for what seemed like forever until the title popped up in the screen.

Every Time something scary would pop up on the screen my head would go into Dylan's chest. It made me feel protected. He held onto me tight whenever he felt like I was scared. By the end of the movie all the snacks were gone and it was just me, Dylan, and what I thought were scary ghosts. But it was just my imagination. I get that way after scary movies.

"You should get some rest" Dylan said looking at me, noticing the bags under my eyes.

"Yeah" I agreed. He lifted me  up and carried me up the stairs. I like being carried. It's fun. Dylan plopped me down on the bed. He helped me get changed. First he pulled down my pants and slipped new pajama pants on. Then he'd take my shirt off and put one of his old shirts on me that I stole from him.

"You have a beautiful body" he complimented. I blushed as he gave me a kiss on the lips. His lips were soft and gentle. Kissing him felt right. He pulled the covers over me and laid next to me. His strong arms wrapped around me felt amazing as I slowly slipped into a deep sleep.
