Epilogue
"Nicolas? Nicki? You better not be playing a prank on me or--", Gisele started, but didn't have time to finish as her last born, Nicolas Jason Hendrick popped out of nowhere.
Gisele narrowed her eyes, "What did I tell you about playing pranks on me?"
The cute 4 year old with his father's dark hair, and mother's green eyes, answered adorably, "You said it was vwery bwad, vwery, vwery bwad"
Gisele smiled at his petulant expression and said, "I forgive you honey, come here"
He smiled and ran towards her. Just at that moment the front door opened, welcoming chatter and giggling.
Gisele watched as 13 year old Callie entered with her 8 year old twin sisters, quickly followed by their father.
"Daddy!", Nicolas shouted, struggling to get out his mom's arms to reach his father. Gisele let him go and he ran excitedly to his father and hugged him tightly.
Gisele headed towards the girls and gave them kisses on their cheeks asking each to get ready for dinner. They climbed up to their rooms, and Nicolas to the play room, leaving Slate and Gisele alone in the living room.
Gisele found herself walking slowly towards Slate. He met her midway, and they kissed, passionately.
"I love you", was the first thing Slate said in that beautiful voice of his.
"And I you", Gisele replied.
As they kissed again, they heard Callie's voice, "Ew, mom, dad, can't you do that in your room"
Gisele hid her face in Slate's shoulder, making him chuckle.
"I love you", she repeated, when Callie had left and pressed her lips to his again.
"Mom! Ughh, parents!"
La fin.
