Chapter 5

A few days later Octavia was out of the hospital but on crutches. It is probably around midnight. I hear a tap on my balcony door in my room. I walk over slowly hoping it's just a branch and I open it. With my relief it's Bellamy. Bellamy comes in looking really scared and worried. He looks out the windows and in my closet making sure no one is there. "I found a book" Bellamy said as he pulls it out of his bag. "I find books all the time in the library." I say joking around. "No this book is different it's about our lives in a different world. Look! The characters names are Raven Reyes, Monty Green, Jasper Jordan, Octavia Blake, Bellamy Blake, and Clarke Griffin." "This doesn't make sense!" I say as I read the book. "It opens with me saying " I was born in space, I've never felt the sun on my face or breath real air. None of us have." I don't get it. This book is about we all live on something in space called The Ark and it's running out of air. So they send 100 criminals to the ground. And we are all criminals. What does this mean?"
