(reader-chan's pov)

you sat down in front of your vanity brushing your hair. separated your hair and grabbed a brush and started brushing your (h/l) (h/c) hair. then you started thinking about the old times.

when you guys were kids Gil was always caring and sweet towards everyone (including you).Even though your not from the castle, Just being a close family friend of the king and Gil's father. But then again how they say nothing lasts for too long.

Gil has changed and became heartless & ruthless. Gil doesnt even look you anymore. It hurts you a lot because you two were really close.

as you guys grew up, you guys sometimes you guys got confused as siblings but, you wanted to be something more than friends or as 'siblings' as they said.

but, he started changing being more rude and became a holy knight. Gil started looking for the seven deadly sins and also stating that he surpassed them. He started being lady Margaret but then again he job is to protect her.

You snapped out of thought of the good old times . you finished brushing your (h/l) (h/c) hair.

you stood up from your vanity and finished your business. started walking out your small room and started a long walking to the castle.

once reaching the town, you saw everything in ruins. Part of the bulidings were on the floor and other non-existent.

you started freaking out but calmed yourself down. Then you started looking for anyone who can tell you what has happened in the town.

while in the search you found Hendrickson. you ran to Hendrickson and shouted
"hendrickson what has happened this whole town is in ruins?"

Hendrickson looked at you and smirked and walked up to you. he grabbed you and held you in a headlock and had a blade towards your neck.

"now if you want to live, your going to have stay quiet." he whispered in your ear; as you started nodding out of fear.

you started walking towards the location, that he took you. that location was familiar to you.

that location was where Gil and yours 'hideout'. you guys used to go here when one of you guys was sad or happy or just plain out confused , back when you and Gil used to talk.

once you got in the middle of the field, you saw a couple of figures in the distance. when you looked closer , you saw it was the seven deadly sins and the holy knights.

you saw meliodas in front of the whole group and noticed that Gil was in the group of holy knights.

Everyone started spreading out and surrounding you and Hendrickson. after everyone finished, they started planing something against hendrickson.

Hendrickson yelled out "anything funny and this lady gets it s-"

"(y/n)!" shouted a voice that seemed worried, but sounded like a voice that you missed for a long time. you moved you head to see if it was true. It was Gil calling you.

"(y/n) dont move or do anything." Gil shouted to you trying to walk towards you.

"silly boy, you can't get her . you moved and this is the price you have to pay." Hendrickson told Gil, before grabbing his sword and stabbing you in the back.

after Hendrickson stabbed you in the back; he threw you at Gil, who was shocked and started crying.

"dont you die on me! (y/n)! dont you live me alone!" he shouted at you.

"G-Gil i n-need y-you to-o k-know that-t i-i l-love y-you G-Gil." you said before you left consciousness, where everything went black.

(Gil's pov)

after (y/n) told me she loved me . I was going to reply to her but she passed out due to blood loss.

i grabbed (y/n) and gave her to Margaret. i didnt really my plan through.

(y/n) is close to dying, the only person who really understand me for me and also the only person i have ever loved since i was a kid.

after i gave (y/n) to Margaret i walked back to my spot in front of Hendrickson.

he started laughing "hahaha you care about her pathetic life. What a cute and sad romance there is in the air."

i looked at Hendrickson and glared at him. at that moment i was going to move forward when a bright light comes out unexpectedly.

After a while the bright light begins to die down a bit. I start searching to see what causes such powerful light. I see Elizabeth glowing and some soldier's that were injured actually healthy.

(After taking down Hendrickson)

I was panting and tired, I saw everyone okay and alive. I remembered (y/n). I ran to Margaret .

"she is breathing? is she alive? is she okay? " I asked in a hurry as I got (y/n) unconscious body.

"Yes , she is breathing. I think she is going to live but, i don't know if she will be okay." Margaret told me as i hugged the love of my life's body.

(After everythings back to normal)

Its been a while, since the incident and (y/n) has yet to wake up. im worried about her. what if she doesnt wake up?

"stop thinking like that gil" said a barely audible raspy voice say.

'Is it (y/n)? can it be her? is it really her?' I thought.

I slowly moved towards the raspy voice , that lead me to (y/n) awake body.

"(Y/N) your awake! you had me worried (y/n). never do that again please and also (y/n)?" I shouted at her.

"yes Gil ?" (y/n) responded.

" i love you too."
