"No, James!" You cried as your crazy boyfriend, the infamous James Potter of the Marauders, practically dragged you to the Quidditch pitch.

"Please, y/n?" He begged, puppy dog eyes and all.

No. No way. There was absolutely no way you were going to try out for Gryffindor's Quidditch team. But unfortunately, this latest escapade of his was your fault. You never should've agreed to a one-on-one match at his house over the summer.

So you shook your head, again. "No."

"Why not? You have talent, and you'll definitely get in! Plus, you get to spend more time with me at training! I mean, look at me. Name one reason why you wouldn't want to spend more time with me."

Rolling your eyes, you started with a smirk, "Well..."

He pouted with a huff. "Hey! I thought I was your favourite person ever!"

"When you're not trying to talk me into things, you are." You punched him in the arm.

"That reminds me! Come on, we'll be late!" James started, grabbing your hand.

With a sigh, you surrendered. "Okay. I'll try out for the team. But if I humiliate myself, it's on you."

He smirked, shaking his head. "Nope. It wouldn't be my fault because you're the one who decided to do it." And with that, he stuck his tongue out at you.

"Well, it wouldn't be my fault because you're the one who talked me into it!" You stuck your tongue out back at him.

James smiled, kissing you on the cheek. "This is why I love you."

"How do you figure that?"

"Because you call me out when I'm wrong. And because Sirius teases me by saying that one day I'll have to put a ring on you or he will. And because you team up with Remus to prank me. Oh, and did I mention because you're crazy beautiful?" He grinned, and your heart melted at how much he cared for his friends, and how much they cared for you.

You pecked him on the lips with a smile and thanks. And, grabbing his hand before you could change your mind, you dragged him along to the Quidditch pitch.

James stumbled, but shrugged it off with a smile. "That's my girl."
