chapter thirteen: talking love

A/N: Heyy, this chapter is about love... I hope you <3 it!

P.S. the drawings in the video on the side I made myself. Michelle tells that they stole her drawings at the university, so this is how her drawings look like (it's spencer reid)

Michelle’s point of view

After I beat Spencer three times with chess (he also won three times, but that doesn’t matter), he asked me a question:

“How was your childhood for so far?”

“Well, it looks a bit like yours, but there are some huge differences. I also graduated high school at the age of twelve. University was hard. I was the victim of bullying. They stole my drawings and ruined them. They deleted all my school projects from my laptop or sent fake e-mails to boys with texts that I wanted to kiss them. They called me slut, although I’ve never kissed any of them.” I hated talking about it, but since Spencer told me about his childhood, I thought he deserved about mine too.

“One time when I was 14, we did 7 minutes of heaven. Do you know what that is?” I asked.

“No” he said.

“It’s some sort of game. You have to go into a closet or dark room with someone and do something for seven minutes. Most of the time people kiss. We did a version with spin the bottle, to choose who the other was. They forced me to participate, so I spun the bottle and walked to the closet. A boy followed me and closed the door. I didn’t know him, but most of the boys were older than 18. He said: “I won’t force you to do anything you don’t want.” He sounded younger than 18. I asked him who he was, and he said his name was River and that he was 16 years old. We chatted until the seven minutes were over. He became my best friend and since then, I’ve been bullied less. When I met him, we were on different classes, but since almost a year ago, we follow the same.”

Officially, my story wasn’t done, but I thought it was enough for now.

“Spencer, have you ever had a girlfriend?” I asked, remembering I already knew the answer from Garcia.

“Nope, I’m 30 and I’ve been single since birth.” He said with a fake smile. I bet he’s tired of saying that.

“And you?” he asked.

“Nope, I’ve never had a girlfriend either.” I said, and Spencer and I burst out in laughter.

“No but serious.” He said after five minutes of laughter.

“I’m also single since birth.” I said.

“Have you never been in love, Spencer?” I said. I mean, if he could care so much for me in such a short time, he must have loved someone before.

“I have been in love before.” He said mysteriously.

“Do I know her?” I asked curiously. Probably not, I mean, I don’t know his other friends or other people he knows.

“Yes” he said, surprising me.

“Who is it?” I was excited to know, but although I only know some of his friends, I still had no idea.

“It’s JJ, but you can’t tell her. I’m over her since she started dating Will, but she had never known and I like to keep it that way.” He said, as if he was ashamed.

“Off course I won’t tell her. Your secret is safe.” I said with a smile.

“Why are you smiling?” he asked, but he smiled too.

“Because even when you said I know her, I had no clue. I only know three female friends of you and I still didn’t know.” I said.

“Have you ever been in love, Michelle?” he asked. Sh*t. I am in love at this moment, but I’m not going to tell him.
