Spencer’s point of view
“I know where he was thinking about.” Did Derek say with a mysterious smile. Please don’t tell her. I told him about what I felt when she gave me that kiss on my cheek, but I don’t want her to know. Than she will think I’m a freak.
“Where was he thinking about?” Michelle asked Derek while we walked to the car.
“I’m not gonna tell you.” Derek said.
“Why not?” she was curious.
“It’s up to him if and when he is going to tell you.” I bet that made her more curious. I guess I figure that out at home.
“Spence, when we get back home, can I ask you something? Something personal?” she said serious.
“Oehhh…” Derek laughed.
“Off course Michelle.” I answered. Derek dropped us at my house.
“What did you want to ask me.” I asked her.
“Uhm… well… you know when you asked me if I had been in love, I lied. I am in love at this moment.” She said, like she lied about something huge. I think I know where this was going, and I was hoping I was wrong.
“And I… uhm… wanted to ask your permission to ask him on a date.” She said shy. I didn’t want her to go on dates this soon. I know she is sixteen, but I want to make sure she is safe and when she is on a date, I can’t do that. But I can’t forbid her, because social interaction is good for her.
“Depends on who he is.” I said. I won’t know him, but I could ask Garcia to check him.
“It’s River.” She said, half ashamed, half relieved.
A/N: I don't know if I can post any new chapters next week, because I'm going on vacation. If we have wi-fi, I'll promise to post chapter 23 and 24. I hope you like it :D
