Christians POV
"Chris, Kendall, come on!" My mom calls as i groan, picking up my duffel bag off my bed.
"Coming" i call as my little sister, Kendall runs passed my room excitedly
"Im coming too!" She giggles as her little feet pad down the wooden hallway floor causing me to laugh as i start towards my door, looking back at my empty room, sighing
"Where's Christian?" I hear my best friend, Anthony ask my mom as she carries a bin out to the car
"In his room, but hurry, we're about to leave" she calls as he runs up the stairs to see me, closing my door
"Hey man" i say as he pants heavily
"I'm so sorry, I just remembered that you were leaving today." He says as i sigh
"Yeah, we are" i say, starting down the hallway to see Kendall dancing for dads video camera
"Kendall seems excited" he laughs
"She's 7, she gets excited over a Twinkie" i say brushing it off
"What about you?" He asks
"Honestly? I dont want to but, whatever" i admit looking to him as he laughs a bit
"Chris!! Lets go!!" My mom yells as i look to Anthony
"Well this is it huh?" He asks
"I guess" i say as he looks as if he's about to cry, looking down
"I uh...i got this for you" he takes a baseball out of his pocket "i swiped it from my dads things" he said giving it to me as i as i dropped my duffel bag, taking it from him carefully and looking to him to see if he were serious
"Anthony" i look to him, holding the ball delicately "this is your dads baseball, autographed by the Babe himself" i say to him as he smiles
"I know" she says "i wanted you to have it. You're the biggest Babe Ruth fan i know" he chuckles "my dad wont even notice" he says "and..i wanted to give you something to remember me bye" he says as i smile to him before pulling him in for a hug, and he hugs me back hard as my eyes start to water.
"Im gonna miss you man" i say into his shoulder as he nods
"Im gonna miss you too" he cries as i pat his back
"Christian" Kendall comes back up the stairs "mommy said you better get your 'A' downstairs now. Shes not playing" she said, feeling all bad cause she sad the first letter of a curse. And me and Anthony pull apart "bye Anthony" she smiles to him as he holds his arms out for her and she giggles, hugging him
"Bye Kendall" he says to her.
"Lets go Chris" she says after letting him go and grabbing onto my duffel bag with her little hands, dragging it down the steps as we laugh at her and we start downstairs, Anthony taking the duffel bag from the struggling girl.
When we get outside she climbs in my dads Range Rover and straps herself in her booster seat.
"Bye Mrs. Johnson" Anthony hugs my mom "Mr. Johnson" he says as my dad pulls him in for a hug and lets go as everyone gets in the car, including me "bye" he says as i smile, waving at him through the window as he stands in the driveway and our truck starts down the block.
That was the last time i seen Anthony.
