Chapter 4 : Curiosity Kills the Cat

Dipper's POV

I brought two knives in my vest, two before my feet, two at my left and right hand. (like a hidden blade all of them) Right now, I just hold a knife.

Well, other knives I lost it when I fought against those little dwarfs, minatours, multi-bears and the living waxes. All of them in one night ... this night.

Only one left, and that's terrible. I almost killed someone in the battle. Who is he? Gideon Gleeful. How did he get here? I.DON'T.KNOW. Literally.

He and I keep running away from those creatures. And because of he, my left leg is broken. But it's not a big deal because it is just an ACCIDENT he said. For me he just did a very bad mistake in his poor life!

I keep my cool down. Hopefully, Mabel could find me and leave this short boy alone. If Mabel didn't get distracted by this boy. She likes him a lot, like Grunkle Stan loves money.

"A-a... A-are you o-okay Dipper?" I sigh a bit and stare at him for a minutes.

"I'm okay, fat boy. Calm down yourself a bit" Well at least those creatures won't know that we are hiding in a cave. Stupid-low-mind creatures.

"Y-you didn't look okay" Another stupid words.

"Don't worry about me too much. What you need to worry about is ... when I will kill you." He became silent. Now I need to take a look into my journal. Journal number 2.

I flips the journal, page by page. Until I found a very mysterious page. I close the journal and let my thumb be the mark of the page. I take a look around and saw that fat boy is holding something in his hand. I can't see better in this cave. Too dark. Too cold.

'Hoc in conspectu oculorum caligo' I whisper a spell only for me to hear it while I closed my eyes. Slowly I open my eyes. Its turn blue. Bright blue. I can see the boy holding a book.

I close my eyes again. I predicting, someone is coming. Its not Mabel. Its ... like I can't predict it. Strange it is for me. Flesh, pure, innocent, strong. I must hide.

Gideon'S POV

I hear a footsteps coming toward here. I stand up and look around in this cave. I hope Dipper is not to far. I'm scared.

"Hello?! Gideon?!" That's familiar.

"P-Paz?! I-Is that you?!" I ran out of cave then search for the voice.

"Gid! I've looking for you everywhere!" She jump at me and let the two of us fell on the ground.

"Thanks for keep looking for me, Paz." I said in sad tone. I really appreciate it. Suddenly, she hold a fist. I get punched at the face.

"Don't ever left me alone again!" She is crying.

"Okay, I won't. Don't cry. Let's head toward Shacks." I keep on calming her. The two of us stands up by our own feet.

"Not to fast." I hear a voice from the bushes.

Pacifica's POV

Ops ... I forgotten about her.

"M-Mabel." I call out her name after I get calm. But, the nerve hit me.

"Mabel?" His reaction showed disbelief. Mabel came out from the bushes and let out a sigh.

"I still want you, my precious little Gideon. But first, the two of you need to help me finding Dipper." She said in an annoying tone.

"No need to." Dipper came out of nowhere. He then stood beside Mabel.
