I don't see my son for 14 years and the first I see of him is THIS?! With his Watford roommate- a boy! This is not the son that I gave birth to in 1997.
The boy. Simon Snow. He sees me through the window and stares. We make eye contact for a moment, and I can tell Basilton senses something is amiss.
My Basilton turns around and sees only my face as I try to slip back into the Veil and immediately tell Lucy, for it is her business to know the sinning her son has been up to.
Well, at least they avenged my death, and the Mage is dead. He deserved it, but it didn't really cross my mind that he would be behind the Veil and I would have to see him regularly. It's a bit awkward. Especially considering he planned the murder of me, and possibly my son and other toddlers. Sick. I killed myself and the vampire that Turned me because how could I ever live with myself if I was a living vampire? They bring dishonor to magicks. At least I saved Baz from being Turned, so it was worth it.
