Chapter 10

Grayson's POV

I hear Izzy come down the stairs, she looked so gorgeous I had no words but, wow I feel like I should have said more but nothing came out. I'm super awkward sometimes I swear. She grabs my hand and we leave, I can't drive yet so we have to walk, good thing it's close. The whole way to the date she kept asking me where we were going.

Izzy: so where are we going?

Me: I don't know you'll have to find out.

Izzy: can you please just tell me?

Me: no, we are almost there

I went and reached for her hand to see how she would react. She let me hold her hand rather than slip out of it. We just talked about anything and everything that came across mind, after what seemed like 2 minutes of talking we arrived.

"since it's fall I thought we could go pumpkin picking, go for a hay ride, go to a surprise place later tonight than head back to my place and we could watch a movie" I say

"that sounds like a lot of fun, I can't wait" she says as she pulls me in tight and hugs me by my waist

I got this sense of comfort as soon as she hugged me, sort of a sense of relief.

Isabella's POV

This date sounds like so much fun, at first I couldn't picture where we were going and now I couldn't think of anything better. I couldn't think of any think of a good enough thank you, so I just gave him a huge hug, I have regretted some things that I've done in life, but spending time and getting to know Grayson won't be. We have only been walking around for about a minute and I get a text from Riley,

 Riley: hey, sorry if it feels like I've been avoiding you lately, but I have just been having drama at home and been taking it out on everyone.

Me: oh, it's okay I would offer if you want to hang out today but I'm hanging out with Grayson. So we can hang out tomorrow night if you want? 

Riley: okay that sounds like a plan, oh and Grayson eh?

Me: hahaha,  we will talk about it tomorrow

Grayson and I start walking through the pumpkin patch and were picking pumpkins for fun, we spent about an hour just taking our time hand in hand walking through the patch. While we were walking I decided to tell him about my previous boyfriend and what type of person I have become, not being able to trust anyone and never thinking positive about any situation. I feel so comfortable around Grayson and it's only been a week that we've known each other. To my surprise Grayson already knew because my brother told him, he took it really well and wasn't judgmental about the situation. We went on the hay ride and we were the only ones on it. I sat next to Grayson and leaned my head onto his shoulder and he placed his head on mine, It was really nice to see a side of Grayson that I hadn't seen before. I was thinking to myself that I really like this guy but I am stopping myself from telling him how I feel, I just don't want to get hurt again I wish I could take that year back. I would do anything for it.
