Jasmine's father is an actor, who's name is Ron Cephas Jones. Her mother is a jazz singer, Kim Lesley. She grew up in Brooklyn, where she lives now.
Education
She attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Career
She has made small appearances in different independent films. Some include Titus in 2013 and Fairfield in 2014. She has also been in some episodes of Blue Bloods and Unforgettable. She has been in the 2015 film, Mistress America.
However, her most well known roles are Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in the Broadway musical, Hamilton.
Personal Life
Jasmine is dating one of her fellow co-stars on Hamilton, Anthony Ramos, who plays John Laurens and Phillip Hamilton. Their relationship started in 2015, around when the musical began.
