Hinata and Kageyama were both wide awake. In an awkward silence, neither of them dared to speak. The problem with being in such a small space was, that when you're with someone you'd rather avoid at the time, it could prove very difficult. And in the tent, in the middle of the night, it was exactly that.

The very problem was their argument could be solved in some very easy and simple steps.

But the problem with that was their unchanging judgement of the situation.

Kageyama had lashed out at Hinata initially due to sheer embarrassment and doubt, which he converted into anger over the fact that he wanted to make sure about how he felt. It had come down to him being caught out before he was ready to admit, and this had made him speechless, answering in the only other way he knew was normal for him towards Hinata: yelling. Though it had gotten out of hand, Kageyama kept thinking over and over about how he regretted all those angry and harsh words. He wished he could take each and every one of them back.

And Hinata, on the other hand, should be consider somewhat of a fragile glass. Once it's dropped, there's no putting it back together. And in this case, the arguement was the drop, and neither of them could put the pieces back together. Hinata had overheard Kageyama, though he wished he hadn't. This whole situation probably wouldn't have happened if he had pretended not to hear. And it was while he was listening to Kageyama that he had realised what he felt for Kageyama wasn't friendliness, but love. The word got caught in his mind, he would have to repress all these feelings after what Kageyama had said. It made him deeply upset to know that Kageyama thought of him that way, but he would just have to deal with it.

Kageyama opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out. He had nothing to say. He had to think of something. There had to be some way to resurrect things. But all he could do was think about it, and ask Sugawara tomorrow.

Eventually, Hinata could hear the heavy patterened breath escape Kageyama's lips. Though he wasn't entirely sure if Kageyama was actually asleep or not. Hinata looked over, sighing heavily, and mumbled, "I just wish you'd say something. I'm getting over you, I promise," He paused, and then heard Kageyama rustle about in his sleep. "And then maybe we could talk over things.." Hinata pursed his lips, turning over and closing his eyes gently. He prayed that Kageyama hadn't heard, but in fact, he had.

Bugs were making noises outside, and the trees were gently rustling in the slow and calm breezes. The morning sun rose up in the sky, painting oranges and pinks. Kageyama's eyes fluttered open, with only a little recollection of what Hinata had said yesterday night. He sat up quickly, making his head ache momentarily. Hinata was still asleep, Kageyama could see the curly orange hair peep out from the covers. He reached for his bag tiredly, yawning. After changing quickly, he slipped on his shoes and climbed out the tent. The air was unbelievably fresh compared to the suburban area they had been in previously. And Kageyama needed just that. It was early morning, and everyone was to be at the camp by 9 for breakfast if they were to wander off before then. Kageyama checked his watch, he had at least an hour and a half before breakfast would begin, and looked around for a good place to sit in peace. He spotted a small mountain area that didn't look to difficult to climb, and began making his way towards it. He walked leisurely, surrounding him were acres of tall and short trees, taking about fifteen minutes to reach the foot of the mountain. It was the size of a tall hill, but looked quite steep. Luckily, there was a small path carved around the side of it, making it an easy journey for Kageyama. Once he reached the top, Kageyama could see over the crowd of trees, upon the cliff line that was close to their camp, and out into the sea. Behind him, if he looked carefully, he could spot the main road and motorway they had originally travelled on. The sun was reflecting against the waves, and all in all it was a beautiful sight.
