Preference 7: How You Sleep

Edited by me as of today! I added a few more things to each of the four preferences here, so feel free to let me know what you think! You don't have to if you don't want to, there's no rush at all :) And all feedback is appreciated, so feel free to let me know your thoughts and opinions in the land of comments and I'll take them into account for future updates! :) :D Also, before I forget, you can disregard the author's note at the end of this preference if you'd like to; I don't have the heart to remove it, so it's gonna stay there :) Now Imma shut up, and let's get to the preference! :) :D

Edward: Since he can't sleep, Edward will lie next to you and watch you, thanking the stars above that you were safe and nothing bad had hurt you in the short time you'd been together. Whether it be a potential fall from the tree on your house property or a rogue vampire wanting to drain you dry, Edward doesn't leave your side for a second after he sees you fall asleep. If he does leave your bedroom before you fall asleep, you can bet your ass he's right back there when he's done with his errand (that usually involves feeding, but who were you to judge?). Edward always makes sure you're safe regardless of the time of day, and he believes you're an angel sent from God to redeem his damned soul from anything that could plague him during his immortal existence before he met you.

Jasper: Jasper would lay next to you in your bed and let you curl into his cold side. This always made you feel better if the temperature outside your house was the surface of the sun since he was as cold as ice, and you'd snuggle your face into his chest to get as much relief as possible from the heat. However, if it was cold outside, Jasper'd wrap you in a blanket burrito and then pull you against him so your head was resting right above his unbeating heart; this soothed you, he learned when you two first started dating, so he kept it up. It didn't matter to him if his heart wasn't beating because when he watched you sleep and heard your heart beating, he felt more human than he's ever felt in all his vampire years.

Emmett: Emmett won't admit this to anyone, not even Edward(though he's heard Emmett's thoughts a time or two), but he's your giant teddy bear. He'll drive to your house and wait until you're in bed and just nodding off before silently Spider-Manning his way up the side of your house into your open window; you did this every night so Emmett could get into your room if you were already asleep and either wake you up in the morning for school or cuddle with you at night. He sees you curled in the fetal position and slowly gets into bed next to you, wrapping you up in his massive arms and pulling you into his muscular chest. He holds you close and you snuggle into his chest, smiling and finally going to dreamland as you feel Emmett's big hands caress your hair and back to soothe you into sleep.

Carlisle: Since he and you work at Forks' main hospital, you guys both ever get sleep. Granted, he can't sleep, so you were the one who nodded off during a late shift or lunch break due to lack of sleep. One such instance was this past shift and you were stuck working late at the hospital. So, during one of the few breaks you had, you made some Instant Ramen noodles in the puny break room and tried not to sleep while doing so. But alas, sleep won out, and you fell asleep next to your dinner at one of the small tables. Carlisle was walking by the break room during his rounds clipboard in hand when he saw you hunched over the table you'd plopped at after your food was done and stopped. He chuckled, gave his clipboard to the passing nurse, and joined you at the table. He sat next to you and ran his fingers through your (h/c) hair, not daring to leave your side while you slept for the first time in hours.

I'm so sorry that I wasn't updating, but school had been kicking my butt recently with the amount of work I have, but I plan to rectify that situation by updating as much as I can.
