Jacob Black Catch-Up

How you met: You and Jacob Black met in the supermarket in the center of the La Push reservation. You were struggling to restock a shelf with Propel when Jake rounded the corner and saw you. He walked over, grabbed some Propel from your hands, and said, "Hey, you looked like you needed help." You smiled and thanked him for helping you before going on your way, sporadically restocking shelves. Jacob followed you and asked, "Want to hang out sometime?" You turned to him when he asked again, "Do you want to hang out?" You nodded and smiled, making him smile back at you and say, "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Jacob Black." You shook his hand and told him your name, looking forward to seeing him after work.

Their thoughts when they first see you: This is just great. Dad didn't get enough milk for cereal. *walks through the cereal aisle like an idiot* What was the kind of cereal Dad liked again? *studies cereal then sees a girl struggling* Cute girl struggling equals I help her! *helping mode engaged* Now speak to her! She's right in front of me and I'm mute. Think, man; what to say to her?! Talk about the bottles and her struggle, that'll do it! She's talking, and she sounds like an angel! Good job, me! *mentally high-fives myself* Not good, she's silent! Ask it again and it'll work. Ok, she's nodding and smiling, which is a yes! Doofus, tell her your name and shake her hand! She's shaking it back; it's so soft! I'm in love!

He tells/shows you who/what he is: Jacob never let you find out what he was on the many "dates" you two went on after meeting in the supermarket. Rather, you have Seth to both thank and smack silly for telling you about the werewolves of La Push Reservation. Yes, you knew the other pack members, but you were none the wiser about werewolves or what the pack members were. Seth told you at a pack gathering while Jacob desperately tried to shut him up. Nothing worked, and your eyes locked with Jake's as Seth spilled the beans. When Seth finished speaking, you stood up and left the gathering, bumping into Jacob's shoulder. When you got to your house, you walked into the living room and flopped onto your couch, tears flowing freely. Jacob Black had a lot of explaining to do and you prayed his excuses were good ones.

How he asks you out: After the fiasco at the gathering, you weren't keen on spending alone time with Jake. That is, you thought you weren't so keen on talking to Jake after the gathering. Rather, your heart skipped a beat every time you thought about him and you wanted to talk to him. What was it about him that made your heart flutter? You didn't know, but when he walked into the supermarket during your shift, your heart sped up like crazy. He walked over to you as you were stacking produce and said, "Go out with me." Your brain stopped working when his words registered and you froze. You nodded and turned to him, not trusting your voice. He smiled and kissed your cheek, leaving you working in a happy daze.

How you hug: When you and Jake hug, it's mostly him hugging you from behind while you were doing something or sitting in a living room. For example, one Friday morning after an eventful Thursday of nothing, you decided to make you and Jake breakfast of French toast and cheesy scrambled eggs. You got all your ingredients and materials together, put them on the counter by the stove, and began chopping vegetables for a salad. Jake awoke as you fried the toast and scrambled the eggs, wondering where you were and why the house smelled delicious. He slowly got out of your bed and trudged into the kitchen, watching you run around the stove making breakfast. He walked over to you and wrapped his arms around your waist, watching you cook. You blushed and continued cooking, letting Jake stare at you and the delicious food you were making. This happened almost every time Jake stayed over at your house, and you both wouldn't have it any other way.
