Twilight Preferences and Imagines

This one-shot was requested by the lovely @LizzieDavis7, I hope you like it! This one will have a mix of fluff and smut, so take this as your warning. And I was using the Russian version of Demetri's name in previous imagines and preferences, but from now on, I will be using the form of Demetri's name that Stephanie Meyer uses in her books; I apologize to those who expected to see the Greek version of Demetri's name in previous works, but that will be fixed today. Now, imma stop yammering, and let's get to the story!

Y/N's POV

No one thinks they know their mates when they first become a vampire. At least, that's what Dad told me when I asked him one day before school. That was three years ago, and now I was in Italy for school without really telling Dad or anyone in the Cullen clan that I'd done this. My sister, Alice, would have a field day the size of Russia if she knew I was here. Yes, I was related to Alice Cullen. And when I had to come to Volterra for school, she almost killed me so I couldn't go; that got dark, and I'm gonna not go there for your eyeballs. For now, let me tell you my story of how my mate, Alec Volturi, and I showed each other just how much we loved each other after Alec got jealous.

I was walking through one of the main Volturi palace gardens when I heard twigs snapping ahead of me. Someone was watching me, and the fact that I couldn't see who was watching me scared me more than I could safely say. I kept walking forward and the cracking got louder; was it me? I looked down and didn't see any twigs by my feet, so someone else who wasn't me was following me. I stopped moving and asked, "Who's following me?" I didn't hear anything and asked again, "Show yourself."

I turned to a nearby bush and saw Demetri staring at me through the leaves of whatever flower bush he'd perched himself behind. He stood up to his full height and asked, "Shouldn't you and Alec be together at all times per Lord Aro's request?"

I nodded and said, "Yes, but I wanted to spend some time in the gardens before I hung out with Alec for the rest of the evening." It was high afternoon when Demetri accosted me, so his skin was sparkling as we spoke.

Demetri came out from behind what I noticed was a rose bush and asked, "Would you like me to accompany you as you walk through the gardens?" I cocked an eyebrow at him and he said, "I'll be on my best behavior, I promise."

I countered, "Wouldn't it be weird if Alec saw us together when he knows we hate each other's guts and never hang out together alone?"

He chuckled and answered, "It would be weird, but I don't think Alec will mind if we hang out for a bit. Besides, he doesn't know that I'm out here talking to you." I sighed and let Demetri walk with me, not knowing that Alec was watching me like a hawk and growling at Demetri.

Alec's POV

I couldn't believe that the love of my life was talking with Demetri when she expressly stated to him that I'd have a problem with it. Demetri knew I'd be pissed off if he joined her when he told me Y/N was walking alone, and yet he went out to her and met with her anyway. I knew she probably thought I was following them, but Demetri stated, "I wouldn't turn around, Y/N. I think we have company."

Y/N didn't move and I said, "And I'd love it if you let her go, Demetri." He didn't move, but Y/N turned to me and I growled, "Let her go, Demetri, or I'll kill you without a second thought."

He chuckled, let her go, and she smiled at me while walking into my open arms, nuzzling my chest and making me growl possessively at Demetri as he watched us. Y/N whispered, "I tried to get him to not walk with me, dear, but you know how he is. He'd have followed me even if I didn't spot him behind a rose bush."

I nodded and said, "And that's why he's going to go back inside and I'm going to continue walking with you, my love." She cocked an eyebrow at me and I said, "I can't have Demetri or anyone else stealing you from me when I want you all to myself."
