"Looks like someone's excited." Maia raised a brow at me.

Sabay-sabay naman silang tumingin sa akin at umangat naman ang dalawang kilay ko.

"What? I'm not excited." I rolled my eyes, downplaying her observation. Pinili ko pa rin magsinungaling kahit na sigurado akong alam nila ang totoo.

"Not excited my ass." she sneered, making an absurd excuse of a face. "You were humming."

"What? I'm not allowed to hum now?" I raised a brow.

"Hayaan mo na yan, Mays. Kunwari di na lang natin alam na may kinalaman kay G-word yan." Noelle snickered.

I resisted rolling my eyes and just smirked. Sanay na ako sa pang-aasar nila. I became the center of their amusement ever since Grant came in the picture. Palibhasa kasi ay mga wala silang love life kaya ako ang napapansin nila. Uh, not that I'm saying that I have one...

I looked at my phone to check the time and realized that it was alreadt past five. Grant, being the workaholic he is, won't be done until seven—or maybe eight.

I know he's got a lot of works piled up because he'd been trying hard to make time for me for the past few days.

Kagaya na lang kahapon. Late na siya nakapasok sa office dahil pagkatapos niya maglaro ng basketball ay kumain pa kami ng breakfast kasama ang mga kaibigan niya. Except for Zion. He left as soon as their game was over, said he was going to meet someone.

Hindi ko tuloy mapigilang maalala ang tungkol sa passcode ni Grant. Hangang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin alam kung ano ang dapat kong maramdaman. I didn't want to assume.

It was just a password. Ano ngayon kung pinalitan niya ang code ng phone niya ng birthdate ko? I shouldn't let myself expect.

Pero kahit anong pigil ang gawin ko sa sarili, napapangiti pa rin talaga ako kapag naiisip ang tungkol doon.

I like it. I like it a lot. The thought of me, passing through Grant's mind every single time that he unlocks his phone. Or maybe even while he's just merely holding it. I mentally let out a dreamy sigh, then mentally slapped myself for my absurd and girly thoughts.

"Ah. Next class na namin in..." tumingin muna si Nikolai sa wrist watch niya bago itinuloy ang sasabihin. "–fifteen minutes. So, you, we need to go."

What? Ang aga pa—" Johan complained as Nikolai pulled him up.

"Shut up, dude." umirap si Nikolai at nagpaalam sa amin bago hibila si Johan mula sa kwelyo ng dami nito.

The girls and I laughed at the almost comical scene happening in front of us. Noelle stopped laughing when Johan stole the fruit shake from her hand, bringing it along with him as he was dragged by Nikolaiz

Noelle shouted a curse, sweetly dedicated to Johan who just winked at us and sipped at the straw with a mocking smile as they completely left the food court.

Umiling ako at tumayo na mula sa upuan. Nalipat naman ang atensyon nilang tatlo sa akin.

"And where are you going?" Maia was the first one to ask.
