Chapter twelve~

||Y/N's POV ||
I'm still stuck in this dark void...I can feel what's around me, but all I see is darkness. It goes on and off. Sometimes I can hear and feel what's around me and sometimes it's just pitch black. I feels so cold and drained. A heavy weight is pushing down on my wrists, enabling myself to move my arms. The smell of rust and blood fill my senses as I try to move slightly before wincing from the pain all over my body.

Suddenly I hear a noise, like rattling in some way. Hearing a small squeak, soft foot steps come my way as a warm touch if felt upon my cheek.

Moments later I felt my self being hoisted up. I open my eyes slightly to see a figure. Levi.

|| Levi's POV ||
Sebastian lead me and Y/N to a carriage as nurses bandaged me and Y/N swaying a bit as the carriage goes over small bumps, they cleaning out wounds and bruises.

Y/N is still sleeping...well I hope she is. If she's not I will get that little tree hugging shit Petra for what she's done. I'm so getting back at her.

Finally arriving at Castle Maria, I stepped out of the carriage cautiously looking at my surroundings. All the maids bowed, but looked on edge and afraid for some unknown reason to me, looking at Sebastian I raised a questionable eyebrow at him. He stared at me, full of sorrow in his eyes. He then started to explain how Y/N's parents and her sister were kidnapped and kill brutally while we were missing.

Erwin found it was indeed Petra who did it and they put her on trial a few days ago and she is sentenced to death.

Me and Y/N were missing for eighteen days. Trapped in that unsanitary cell, cold and smelt of dirt and rust.

I'm really pissed off right now...I just want to go go punch something or someone.
One- Because I'm dirty as fuck
Two- My back hurts
Three- Y/N is not awake yet
Four- Y/N's family is dead
Five- The maids didn't clean properly

Staying with Y/N a bit in her room I went to go take a shower. Stripping myself of these rags called clothes, dirtied by all the shit that was on the floor of my cell, I stepped into the shower.

The warm water hit my skin, all my wounds stung as the water ran down my skin. I sighed in relief as all the dirt washes away, and the wounds started stinging less and less.

Eventually I stepped out of the shower and got dressed. I went over to my bed and rolled in, burying myself in the soft comforter.

I laid there in my bed, gazing at ceiling. Thinking about how should I tell Y/N that her family passed, or even when is she going to wake up at all.

I massaged my temples in attempt to relief the growing head ache I was having.

Right when I was about to doze off Sebastian suddenly barged into my room, startling me.

"Your highness Y/N has woken up! Come quickly!" I practically jumped out of the confinements of my pillow fort I made myself, tripping over my feet. I dashed to Y/N's room and swung the door open.

There sat Y/N, bandages all over her body. Bruises here and there, all the dried blood and mud from earlier gone.

I quickly made my way beside her. I took her hand and brought it to my forehead mumbling apologies.

Y/N turned to me and smiled, that's when I lost it. Tears started streaking down my face, I looked down my hair covered my eyes as I sobbed still gripping Y/N's hand.

"I'm sorry Y/N...I c-couldn't protect you enough...I'm sorry..." I mumbled, tears still falling.

"Levi, it's not your fault." She brought my chin up to make myself look at her. Tears still staining my cheeks.
"I love you..."

How it hanging my cadets, I'm sorry I said I would update on Sunday but I completely forgot I had midterms. Which sucked shit by the way. So next chapter will be the last chapter of this book sadly but I'm making a new fan fic, it will also be a Levi x reader.
