Lying back on my poster size bed, all those crazy thoughts are racing in my head
There's a time that I tried to forget all of the lies, those whispers, those stares, act like nothing's wrong
Young and innocent I was but now I'm older, feeling smaller
Peer pressure digging in, don't want to make a mistake, I'll see that as a sin
My bright blue eyes are misting up with tears
All I wanted was to see, a happier new year
