Anakin:

The force blared a warning, making him slam on the brakes. Behind him, several angry Coruscanti people blared their horns. Anakin quickly swerved, and found himself returning to the temple.

When he reached the temple, Anakin ran inside to find Leia. It wasn't safe..something bad was going to happen. He ran down the empty, long halls in search of his daughter.

Laughter echoed from down the corridor, and he recognized it instantly. He ran until he located the room. "Leia," he said breathlessly. His daughter looked up at him, suddenly scared as to why he had returned so quickly.

"Something bad-" before he could finish, the building groaned. An explosion rocked the room, and Leia shouted. The ceiling cracked, and chunks of the foundation fell. "Leia!" Anakin shouted as a particularly large chunk nearly hit her.

The rock stilled above Leia's head, her hands raised protectively. Anakin gasped, but quickly moved from the shock and grabbed Leia. Obi-Wan ran by his side, gasping for breath as dust filled the air. The further they ran, the more in shambles the temple became.

Obi-Wan, Anakin, Leia, and a few more Jedi burst from the doors, all coughing. Ships surrounded the temple, firing repeatedly. Thousands of soldiers in white jumped from the ships, and started rounding up Coruscant civilians.

"Clones."

The word shocked him. Despite the small change in armor, it was quite obvious that they were clones. They had been inactive for almost eight  years, since the day Luke and Leia were born. The clones had been given a chance at a settled life, and if they were needed they would be given a call.

Someone had found them, and whipped the army back into shape. Maybe they shouldn't have been so susceptible to orders... "Now for them, nothing we can do. Move, we must," Yoda said firmly, and Anakin knew he was right. They were far too outnumbered.

The small group of remaining Jedi fled to the hangar, where a few ships remained. Anakin carefully set Leia in his old ship, then climbed in himself.  Obi-Wan hopped into his as a small buzzing sound emitted from the hall.

"Artoo!" Leia called as the droid rolled in. Anakin smiled as the droid positioned itself in the wing. Deciding to see if Luke and Padmé were still on Naboo, Anakin concentrated on his signature.

They weren't there, in fact..it seemed they never had been. The signature had come from a ship nearby. But now the presence was gone, long gone. "Everyone set?" Anakin asked through his headset. A chorus of 'yes' came his way, and they were off.

"I know of a place we can lay low.." He broke the silence after a lot of aimless flying. "And where would that be, Master Skywalker?" Ki-Adi Mundi asked in response. "I've got a step family..on Tatooine. They own a moisture farm. It's our best shot for now."

Luke:

"And now, Young Starkiller, we shall begin your training," Sidious gave a strange smile to him, but a smile none the less. "Some of these abilities may come easy to you," Sidious continued, brandishing a silver cylinder.

Snap-hiss

A red blade shot out of the cylinder, startling Luke. "This, Young Starkiller, is a light-saber. The chosen weapon of the Sith. One day, when you are old enough, you shall build your own." Darth Sidious explained, a hint of annoyance in his thick voice.

"Until then, I have a spare you shall use for training. But first, you must learn levitation. A simple task, for any one trained in the force," his master demonstrated, a silver square floating above his hands.

"It is all about using your emotion. Now imagine, this piece of metal has the power to kill Anakin Skywalker. You are trapped, and have nothing else. The only way is to use the force. Imagine the metal in your head, and imagine using it to kill Skywalker." Sidious chuckled darkly.

Luke took one long look at the piece of scrap metal, then saw it in his head. In front, was Anakin Skywalker in so much clarity it made Luke sick. He imagined the scrap going up- and straight into Anakin's heart.

Chink.

Luke's eyes snapped open, looking around in caution. Lodged in the wall, was the piece of scrap metal. Exactly where Anakin's heart was. "Good Luke...very good," Sidious smirked, chuckling at the easy progress.

"Do it again!" Sidious commanded, and Luke obliged. Over and over again. Every time, he relished in Anakin pained and longing expression. Luke didn't care, Luke didn't show mercy. He was a Sith.

"Great job, my boy. And now, your mother and I have business to attend to," Sidious rose, and left to find Padmè. Luke sighed, wanting to learn and practice more. Suddenly, a voice entered his subconscious.

My son...my poor, poor son...
I will find you. Soon, you and your mother will be in my arms.

Once the voice retreated, Luke gasped. The force-sensitive obviously didn't realize he had entered Luke's mind, but the voice struck a cord with him.

He doubled over in pain, his mind screaming. It felt as if someone was digging a knife through his insides. Ever so slowly, the pounding got louder; stronger. Finally, Luke collapsed in a fit of twitching.

Something was there, something was hidden from him. More screams sounded throughout the room, echoing off the bleak walls. They all sounded so desperate and hoarse...and with grim realization,

Luke knew the screams were his own.

Yay! Owen and Beru should be coming, I'm excited to work with their characters. We don't really see much of them in the series, so it'll be fun :) And yes..sadly killing Anakin is Luke's motivation for training...

But I have big plans.

The art is mine btw

The art is mine btw. Luke and Leia subconsciously know what's going on and they are just like sad-happy to see each other through the force.

May the force be with you-
