Valentines Special

I'll be updating the next arc's chapter soon, but I wanted to do a short Interlude before the start of the next arc. (Just kidding. This special contains around 3k words. It's by no means short!)

So,  here's a short Valentines Day special. (Imagine them a few years older)

3rd person POV

If Lilianne had remembered correctly, in the game of '----', there was a Valentines Day Special event where the Heroine had painstakingly baked chocolate cookies with expired milk(accidentally) for the capture targets. 

Of course, she didn't know that the original Lilianne had replaced her fresh milk with expired ones before she had started to bake. 

Fortunately, at the end of the whole event, the males whom the Heroine had made the cookies for would accept the cookies gratefully and eat them right in front of her.

Even after knowing that the cookies weren't safe to be consumed. 

Their interactions during the event were only available during that short time period, so Ella Grandor had recorded each and every one of their scenes.(And saved the videos on multiple thumb-drives)

Moreover, their obtainable cg(Computer Graphics) were so beautiful that during her time as Ella Grandor, Lilianne just had to spend some real money to get their enlarged posters for herself.

So, now that the targets are in front of her, Lilianne Encouraege decided to try out making cookies for the few people she knows.

Edible cookies of course.

-With Kain-

"Kain! Here's some- Woah!"

Lilianne was prepared to surprise Kain with the chocolate cookies she had baked by herself, but when she visited Kain in his Guest Room, instead of being the one surprising, she was the one being surprised.

"Oh! Happy Valentines Day Lilianne. Here, I've made it for you using the cocoa brand you love." Kain gave Lilianne a brilliant smile as he presented her with a chocolate sculpture of herself-made entirely by himself.

Lilianne could only gap at the ridiculously huge sculpture of herself as she backed away from the too intense -Praise me- look she received from Kain. 

"E-Eh? O-Oh! Happy Valentines Day. " Lilianne immediately hid the cookies she wanted to give Kain behind her back, eyes wandering elsewhere, unwilling to have direct eye contact with her stupid fiancée who had ruined her plans of surprising him.

"Hmm? What did you just hid behind your back?" Kain stepped forward as he circled Lilianne, who continued to avoid him, around the room.

"Nothing!" Lilianne panicked when Kain was so near to finding out her pathetic gift of a chocolate, and accidentally dropped them when Kain jumped on her.

"When you say 'nothing', it must be 'something'," Kain gave her a grin,  releasing her from his hold as he picked up the bag of prettily wrapped cookies from the floor. 

He stared at the bag of cookies with uninterested eyes, examining it's contents while glancing at his cute, fidgeting fiancée.

Twirling the decorative ribbon around his index finger, Kain's eyes lit up when he saw who the bag of cookies was addressed to, and proceeded to give Lilianne a peak on her cheeks.
