At The Lake Part Two

"I like this spot you picked." Jai pecked Vicky on the lips.

Victoria smiled at him. "I know a bit about the wilderness and I told you the sunset would be quite a sight from here."

"You know what would be a good spot?" Paige asked, "A spot back at the house, it would be perfect. Who cares about the sunset?"

"We can't go back now, besides do you want walk through the woods in the dark to get back to the house?" Zach asked.

"I hated the idea of coming out here in the first place now I'm stuck until dawn." Paige muttered more to herself. "And could you shut up Zachary!" she snapped and threw a twig from the ground at him.

I laughed at the banter between my brother and Paige; I almost forgot how much they didn't get along and missed seeing their fights. It was around eight pm and we were seated in the middle of nowhere around a fire set up by the guys. We were sitting on camping chairs, lazily chatting and sipping on beer, Vicky and Jai sat close together looking cosy, James and Gaby sat together and Paige, Zach, William and me were spaced out comfortably.

I watched as Jai and Vicky giggled together, lost in their own world. I would've been happy if Jai had found a normal human girl instead of the bloodsucking leech Vicky, but I had no such luck because as the days went along he seemed to be more and more into her.

I watched as Vicky moved in closer and closer to Jai, her lips almost at his neck. I knew she wouldn't do anything in front of us but something about the way she looked at and sat with him told me she was quite familiar with that area of his body. Could she be feeding on him?

"It's very rude to stare." I was snapped out of my reverie by William.

I looked at him slightly annoyed. "Can't you see how comfortable she is with his neck?" I asked.

William chuckled. "What are you talking about? They're a couple and couples do weird crazy things. Trust me I've seen my share."

"Maybe if they were a normal couple I'd understand but you and I both know Victoria isn't normal." I muttered looking at them but then added by looking at William who was casually sipping on a beer. "Hey can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Go for it."

I shifted closer to him. "Do you think she's feeding on him?" I asked in a whisper, near his ears.

William shrugged. "Can't tell but I do know that she probably can hear you-well us from there."

"I know and I frankly don't care." I stated in a normal tone.

William raised a brow. "You should, she's really strong-"

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Not you too." I grumbled and grabbed the beer bottle out of his hand.

He tried objecting but I already had it at my lips. Enjoying the taste going down my throat. "I so needed that." I said after almost gulping down the whole bottle. "Thanks." I grinned and handed him the bottle.

I got sick of watching Vicky with Jai, knowing I couldn't do anything as yet so I stood up. I looked down at William. "Walk with me."

William raised a brow and looked up at me. "In the woods, at this time? You're up for it?"

I shrugged. "Why not? We won't go that far and I have you with me, I know you won't let anyone hurt me." I grinned. "Besides those big muscles have to come to use some time or the other right?"

Will stood up. "Okay, let's go."

"Wait a sec." I mumbled then walked over to where Paige was and grabbed a good few beers with me.
