I parked up outside the address that matty had sent me with only a few cars outside.Locking my car I walked up to the gardens pathway, just as I was about to knock Matty opened the door
"Ava you came" he greeted opening the door wide enough for me to enter
"Hmm it took some debating with myself" I chuckled
"Well I'm glad you came, let me introduce you to my band mates"
I'm going to need some more oxygen
I followed matty into the living area where 3 boys sat on a sofa and a few people  was in the kitchen.
"Ava meet George, Adam and Ross"
Matty gestured to the 3 boys sat on the sofa
"Hi" I smiled
"So you mentioned they where you're band mates?" I questioned matty, acting oblivious as to who they are.
He handed me a drink but I declined as I've to drive home.
"Yeah surprised you haven't figured it out yet" he laughed
I have... Secretly
"We're the 1975..?" Matty said slowly
"Oh yeah!! I knew I recognised you"
I did recognise them obviously,
"You guys sing chocolate right?"
If I was anyone else I'd slap me right now, my acting skills are probably really bad right now.
"I think everyone knows that fucking song" matty laughed lighting a cigarette inhaling it then blowing it back out again making me cough
"Not a smoker" he smirked
"You could say that" I chuckled

As the time  went by the house became much more crowded and soon enough the music was blaring and matty was nowhere to be found.
I walked into the kitchen area as it was less crowded, I got a glass out of the top cupboard and poured myself a glass of water.
I was getting really sweaty in here and not knowing anyone was making me really nervous, I was getting bumped into and people touching me it was all getting a bit too much.
In a panic I found myself in a bathroom calling Brad.
"Ava?!" Brad said sleepily down the phone
"Brad" I cried squeezing my eyes shut  tight then opening them again
"Ava wants wrong?" Brad said worriedly down the other end
"I'm at a party and I'm really scared" I sobbed
I know Brad can't exactly come to my rescue but maybe he can help in some virtual way.
"Ava who's party are you at?" Brad sighed
By the sounds of it he's sitting up in his bed
"Matty healys" I bit my lip
I sat on the toilet seat stretching over to lock the bathroom door.
"What! How did you meet matty Healy?!?"
"What does it matter , I don't know anybody and I'm just scared"
This sounds pathetic I know.
I knew I wouldn't know anybody coming here obviously but I didn't think it'd scare me that much.
"Ava there's not much I can do I'm sorry" he sighed
"I know" I cried
"Look just stop hiding from everyone they aren't going to hurt you. Get out of wherever you're hiding and go straight to you're car then go home you got it?" He instructed
I nodded forgetting he can't see me and muttered a yes
"Stay on the phone to me until you get into the car" he strictly said
"Okay"
I kept the phone up to my ear unlocking the bathroom door and practically running for the front  door.
Once out I made my way to my car taking a deep breath when I got inside
"Okay I'm in the car" I spoke
"Okay"
It stayed quiet for what felt like a lifetime but was really about 10 seconds
"Are you still mad at me?" I broke the silence
I heard Brad sigh
"I'm mad yes"
"But. I'm also pissed that you packed everything and didn't say anything to none of us"
This time it was my turn to sigh
"Brad you don't understand there's no way I could simply break down every single detail of what happened or what's going on but just know you might of thought I didn't like you well you're right I didn't" I stopped my sentence
I heard brads faint breathing down the line and I can tell he's upset
"I loved you"
